He'll bring it back in revenue (box office, concessions, apparel, playoff gate, etc)

PLUS, having a guy like him can likely entice other free agents in the future to come here

I feel getting him gives back all the cache we lost last season and puts us in a huge position of strength

Gaudreau is worth atleast what Panarin is worth. And I would take him over Panarin, he would be the Isles best player in quite some to put on an Islanders uniform. Dare I say since Lafontaine. If he costs in the Panarin range I still do it. 10/10
