So DW either has to have a deal in place beforehand, or has 3 hours to get it done tomorrow

Earlier people were concerned about signing Skjei because of Nikishin.

Folks, we have ZERO defensemen signed after next year. We don’t know for sure Nikishin is even coming. Orlov isn’t a two year deal because of Nikishin - he called us. You don’t save space for a prospect two years down the road. If we can sign Skjei to anything palatable you do it all day.

For the love of god we can figure out Nikishin when he gets here like we do everyone else. Hardly a bad idea to start him on the third pair anyways, if we keep Slavin.

This same team, more or less, made it to the ECF minus their best wing and best goalie. They've got a chance regardless.
