Schneider is the only player in that group that should be untouchableOthmann, Schneider, Laf, Kakko and Garand should be the next wave and fairly untouchable.

This is the same thing as all those stupid Kings offers for their centers. Teams don’t trade prospect centers for other prospects like this. Dallas doesn’t even consider this. If they were going to cash in on Johnson (they aren’t) they need to get an all star caliber player back. It's not an offer of middling parts. We have zero reason to move Othmann or Lundkvist, too.
What has Laf or Kakko done, on the ice as a Ranger, to deserve to be “untouchable” ?More than Laf or Kakko? lol.
The answer is one deal involving Brassard for Zib in the last 5 years.Bringing up a 3 in a decade deal to justify delusion? How many brassard for zib deals have happened in the last 5 years?
What has Laf or Kakko done, on the ice as a Ranger, to deserve to be “untouchable” ?
Especially Kakko who is in line for an undeserved raise?
I was mildly excited about the trend in 2017 to draft more Euros and going deeper into the Russians but by the end of the rebuild, I'm fully onboard with the old all American program with a few Swedes and a few Canadians sprinkled in there.
Toronto signed Ritchie to a good cap amount. He passed through waivers. Now they’re aggressively shopping him. Guess we were right to stay away.
Okay so you don’t know what they’ve shown on the ice either. Got it. It’s okay, I also cannot.A heck of a lot more than "10 games into his NHL career" Braden Schneider
32T between periods:
Marek says Van is interested in Zacha.
Ellitotte says Toronto is working to move Ritchie. Says Rangers, among others, in on Chiarot. SJ/Hertl working seriously on extension.
I like that Chytil is back at center. He’s got 35 games to make himself a long-term option. I’m not a believer but I’d love to be proven wrong
Imo they should keep him on RW with strome/panarin while kakko is out.I like that Chytil is back at center. He’s got 35 games to make himself a long-term option. I’m not a believer but I’d love to be proven wrong
Looking at some dots here. Colorado is interested in Marc-Andre Fleury and Claude Giroux, both players who are on expiring contracts. The Avalanche are up against the cap.
The Rangers have cap space this season to launder contracts.
Chris Drury and former teammate Joe Sakic are old buddies.
What’s an Alex Newhook between friends?

I think theres more of a background issue with nemeth. He haant been himself this season and his play has taken a nosedive compared to his other seasons. If we keep him., we just hope hes good next year I guess.Easily predicted Nemeth isn’t going anywhere. Most coaches are in love with playing two bigger dmen together. Jones and Nils will get a few rare games here and there but Hartford is their main address unless traded I just hope Nemeth turns his game around a bit he was awful as of late. Like horrible
I'm actually kind of afraid to trade Nils, although I guess he's the odd man out. Still, an impressive junior career, ntm him winning the Borje Salming trophy as a kid playing in a man's league. At 21 years of age, he's got an extremely long road ahead of him. Yes Schneider is the better player as of right now, but who knows, Nils has plenty of time to continue and adapt to NA. He just needs to keep playing, and keep learning. With many young up and coming center men out there, there's no doubt the Rangers have the pool of young guns to get one. I'm guessing by the trade dead line, or during the Summer, something will get done.
Maybe. But by the same token, I don’t think this team is that far away. If this team could add a pain in the ass hard working 3rd liner then they will be that much closer. And at that point, depending on final cost, I am about adding a 2C. That makes the team very difficult to play against this year. And if its JT Miller, it makes them even better for next. You could likely find another pesky 3rd liner next year for a 4th round pick, while having Miller for a full year as well as your group having a full year together. Sign UDFAs and European FAs to restock the cupboard.
