Still don’t think Skjei gets moved until a kid like Miller, Robertson or Jones are ready to come up, unless Gorton plans on moving someone like Buch for a LHD.

Out: Kreider, Buch, Skjei
In: LHD, ++++

I don’t see Gorton making 3 huge moves like this though. Not now.

I love that Brooks drop on Lundqvist interest. I think that leaked to send a message to Hank that there isn’t a place for him in the NHL. Probably won’t work, but good thinking beneath the hood.

In terms of discussion, i think kreider is gone but an interesting idea may be in the summer imo. What i mean is ryan strome can net a high return, regardless of the poont production from panarin. In this same respect, it can be argued panarin is enjoying a career year with strome and that strome can definetely hang with the elite. That makes him a perfect case for where we add a little to get a good dman. Then, we package georgiev and skjei for nylander, though i believe that happens during the draft. Why? Bc freddy anderson shit the bed(thanks mckay!) Against the pens and dubas is under immense pressure to at least win a round.

I think Dubas will find better options than Skjei+Geo for Nylander if he was actively shopping him.

I, very surprisingly, actually heard what can best be defined as quite the contrary rumblings today to Bus Stop Uncle Larrys tweet. But - no Harrisburg, Chernobyl, Fukushima meltdowns now, Please. But I put together the Two different given views, not a direct quote. Still, it is not out of the question Our HoFer might be on the way out. Pride is a mortal sin You see...

Don't like paying half the cap for Tavares, Matthews, Marner and Nylander, how about slightly less than that for Tavares, Matthews, Marner and Skjei?

Good point on that, but you have to think of it as this. Skjei is young, cost controlled, and may benefit from a change of scenery bc the current def scheme is def not working well. Georgiev is good, but i dont wanna trade him bc of hank. I want to trade him bc we have tyler wall whos going to be in the ahl and huska. A good def will make the goaltenders more elite. If u rlly wanna add, it works, bc you get a star from a team filled with too many, and in the same regard u get a lot of pieces to shore up your team. I think it works. Especially if strome is gone.

Are we talking a potential trade or maybe a buyout/retirement?
