I’ve been. I love the place. I agree that Tony probably wouldn’t.
But real life isn’t Twitter. And people in America don’t know anything about hockey players.
Again, I get it, and you guys are probably right. But I think we overrate some of these perceptions.
PalmieriWondering if the Ladd deal frees up Lou to make a run at Hall.
A defenseman is probably what people are thinking of because of how much we talked about it with the Rangers, but honestly based on expansion lists and exposures I get the idea that a quality bottom 6 player coming to the Rangers from Seattle makes a lot of sense, with someone like Hajek going the other way (since we can protect Hajek and Seattle could use NHL capable young D, a thing they won't get from expansion eligible players for them to take)So who do we now have lined up coming to NYC from Seattle? That is the question
Leslie on the warpath. She is probably right....
Totally get it. I do. But baggage aside, Deangelo will probably be the best player available to Francis straight up. Stranger things have happened.I hear you and honestly to a large degree agree with this statement. But if they take him in the ED, that is THE STORY getting clicks and shares the next morning. For better or worse. There will be a long form piece in the Athletic. This should be an exciting, momentum building moment for the franchise. I’d be absolutely stunned if Francis was willing to sign up for this inevitable controversy at such a pivotal moment for the franchise.
But I hope he does! As a NYR fan that would be an ideal scenario...
I just thought they would attempt to spend 8 million dollars on Ladd V2, Landeskog.Palmieri
Tarasenko also has a NTC, so while he can be exposed I guess he can turn down a team like Arizona or Detroit. Why? This tweet doesn't mean anything. For all we know they were asking STL to take a bad contract back or to take back a player with term when they'd prefer cap space.
Don't want this to turn into another ADA thread but, Seattle isn't that much different from NYC in terms of what you all are discussing. Tony liked it here. I am sure he would be fine in Seattle.I’ve been. I love the place. I agree that Tony probably wouldn’t.

Prob get laid tooIt's one wedding man, it's not like he is preparing for it. He will be wasted, get an one day hangover and life goes on.
So who do we likely lose to SK?
Gauthier assuming we sign Goodrow is the best bet I thinkSo who do we likely lose to SK?
Very close to what i am hoping for.I would be happy with 3 years at ~$3m for Goodrow. A bit of an overpayment? Maybe, but he fits the team like a glove, and is exactly the type of player the team needs.
A perfect finish to this offseason imo would be
- Moving Buch, 15th, and a defensive prospect like Jones/Robertson for Larkin
- Signing Suter to 1yr/$4-5m
- Flipping Strome to recover assets
Assuming Rooney gets taken in the expansion draft this is hopefully our lineup next season:
Panarin-Larkin-Kakko
Laf-Zibanejad-Kravstov
Kreider-Chytil-Goodrow
Barron-Blackwell-Gauthier
Lindgren-Fox
Miller-Trouba
Suter-Lundkvist
Igor
Georgiev
Plus it’s nice to get a player that knows what it takes to win a cup.I would say they are somewhat similar. Goodrow has an edge that we need right now
Been there many times, my friend owns a number of ice cream shops out there and I visit him regularly. Going out there again this summer. Nothing I've said is inaccurate. You need to spend more time in Seattle.
YesCan the Rangers sign Goodrow during the freeze?
Very close to what i am hoping for.
Minus Georgiev and Blackwell. Replace with a veteran backup and Coleman.
