Bold prediction: Andersson outplays Howden and starts as our 3C.
Only the Sith deal in absolutes. Not exactly bold to predict him outplaying one of the worst regular forwards in the NHL last year.

DB3, state 364?Only the Sith deal in absolutes.
Freddie Claesson a tryout with the Hurricanes. I wanted him back as a depth option even for Hartford
He should be upset at the NHLPA, if anyone. As much as I would like to agree it's not the same situation, Pionk had arb rights while ADA doesn't. He has a right to be upset but it's not particularly reasonable for him to be upset if that is his mindset. When he has arb rights he will have more leverage.
It’s BOLD AF.Not exactly bold to predict him outplaying one of the worst regular forwards in the NHL last year.
how are the leafs cap compliant right now? you can go over the cap during the summer by 10% which is $8.15 mil. since you can't put guys on LTIR until the season starts, they are currently $13 mil over the cap
Can LTIR be used in the off-season?
Yes, LTIR can be used in the off-season while the 10% off-season cushion is active. LTIR in the off-season is calculated using the basic equation outlined above, which permits a team to exceed the off-season salary cap. To use off-season LTIR the team must provide doctors proof that the player in question will continue to be injured at the beginning of the regular season for 10 NHL games and 24 calendar days.
At the start of the season the teams LTIR relief & ACSL is recalculated when the 10% cushion is removed.
Anaheim needs an RHD. Just sayin...Ducks have a lot of cap space , just saying
we trade ADA for a first, and then pick up Honka for a 4th?Anaheim needs an RHD. Just sayin...

I never thought Tony would actually sit out since to me it seems like such an obviously poor decision to make under the circumstances.
The best thing he could have done for his career was to sign a 1 year contract, put his head down, and play a good full season in the NHL.
The absolute worst thing he could do is not be on the ice for any reason other than injury. His absence hurts himself 100 times more than it hurts the team at this stage of game.
Hopefully for his sake he comes to his senses soon and doesn’t miss much of camp, let alone actual games.
By the way. For all the talk about Rangers having a massive hole on 2C and that it'll be super weak and a weakness etc. the simple solution is to just have Kakko play 2C - that's if Chytil isn't ready for it.
