HaHa. No Bern. Just feel Lindgren has peeked. Gallant would rather play 7 defensemen then start Barron.Teams would bend us over backwards if we tried to trade Binnington at the draft, because they know we can't afford him at 3 mil. We also can't afford to retain 1.5 mil on his contract for 5 years.
On top of that, we're giving up a top 4 dman, a dman that we need going into the playoffs, for a 1st round pick and a prospect? When did we become sellers?
Has Bern hacked your account?
If the rangers gave that up for hagel this place would burn to the ground
This x1000.Thats three teams (Tampa, Florida, Calgary) I see going for broke this year. Colorado will be the fourth and Carolina will also be there.
We are not ready to play in that league.
Yet.
Drury isn't going to actively make the team worse by trading Lindgren. If he gets traded (which I doubt) it would be in the offseason. And the Binnington thing is a risk not worth taking.HaHa. No Bern. Just feel Lindgren has peeked. Gallant would rather play 7 defensemen then start Barron.
If Binnington regains his game under Benoit Allaire he would be worth the 3 million in the short term and then could be traded later. 2023 or 2024 deadline.
Also we would have the extra first to package with a deal for Chychrun.
Just spitballing.
Even if he does, 15/20 is amazing for 1.5 per. Can't wat til Hagel regresses to 15-20-35 and no D to fall back on
If you drafted or signed the player, I'd agree. I wouldn't pay 2 1sts and 2 bottom 6 potential players for it.Even if he does, 15/20 is amazing for 1.5 per.
Tampa wants him because he's an effective forechecker with a scoring touch who plays with pace and can step him and bring some of what they lost in Coleman, Gourde and Goodrow. Him being a 1.5m caphit for a capped out team makes him very much worth it to them, even if he regresses to 15-20-35 in each of the next two season. Can't wat til Hagel regresses to 15-20-35 and no D to fall back on
I wouldn't either, not until we won a few cups and had a core capable of winning potentially a few more.If you drafted or signed the player, I'd agree. I wouldn't pay 2 1sts and 2 bottom 6 potential players for it.
not at the cost of two 1sts.Even if he does, 15/20 is amazing for 1.5 per.
Tell us what he said son of SamWe aren't done. My bassethound knows these things.
Dave Maloney was on the NY Post Rangers podcast with Mollie Walker and Ron Duguay. Maloney said playoff experience is important and it matters. Some teams need to lose 2 or 3 times in the playoffs before figuring out what it takes to win. Teams coming out of a rebuild don't win without losing in the playoffs. He said his first playoff experience in 1978 was important for that Rangers team. They lost to Buffalo in the first round. The next season the Rangers went to the Cup finals. Maloney said he wished management had left the team alone after that season.
No specific player mentioned because they have no idea what the Rangers are doing. Just like they had no idea about Vatrano before it happened. Like none. Rangers run a tight ship with this type of stuff. Yeah, they may be interested in a Radulov or a Kessel, but there is definitely other conversations being had. We’ll see what happens. I do agree with being careful about who they bring in if they have term past this season.32 Toughts podcast deadline edition dropped.
Rangers segment:
Very short segment about them. No "splash" move that was rumored earlier in the approach to the deadline. Looks like depth moves and nothing that impacts the team beyond this year. No player mentioned besides Radulov.
- Likes the Vatrano move
- Looking for a LHD
- Made a pitch for Radulov
- Looking at players that do not impact their cap next season
The Netflix documentary was awesome!Tell us what he said son of Sam

Trying to get her "vetted"
And that's fine with the addition of Vatrano and Kakko coming back. Let's see what they can do.We're going to add Eakins or Carepenter and call it a TDL
And those would be pretty darn good addsI see them adding a Copp/lehkonen and someone like leddy and calling it a day.
