Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The admin team will continue to work on existing issues, templates and upgrade all necessary available addons to minimize impact of this new version. Click Here for Updates

Buch's good play is contributing to this and the fact that there is a 15 page thread on how this was such a steal on the main boards.

I cant get myself riled up about the Buchnevich trade. The organization (correctly) chose Kreider over him and wouldve been killed for moving him regardless of what the return was or if they let him walk next summer.
Solid Ranger, wish him well, but his breakout came too late and in a contract year with the team flush with high end wing prospects. It is what it is. Will people like the trade more if they trade the Blues 2nd for Reilly Smith?

I can’t believe people are still talking about Buchy a guy we couldn’t afford to sign long term and didn’t have nearly the market for his services we had hoped for. Blais tore his acl what can you do about that? Nothing. We have money for a rental and will get one. We won’t have that money avail next year move on.

Edge said LA offered us a 1st and Kupari for him, so I don't believe this.
Feels like Drury just made a stupid trade and we spent all summer doing gymnastics to justify it.
And? Avs can't resign Kadri. They didn't trade him over the summer. You get more value at the deadline.

The Buch trade was awful, and it's nonsense to say they couldn't afford to keep him long term, pure nonsense. It's just people trying to rationalize a poor decision by the GM.
It is amazing though how so many posters on this board want to shuffle things around so to try and get Chytil into the supposedly right position even if it means breaking up line combos that have been successful this year. These are the same people that labeled him a stud number 2 center this past off season. Fact is at some point they need to realize that the guy has been a major disappointment for a first round pick.

Buchnevich was the best defensive forward on our team, and had the best PK stats of any forward in the league last season. Only player who had better was Hedman.

No. This is nonsense. The org is getting killed because we made a stupid, indefensible trade on a fan favorite and basically our only good RWer just to get a massive downgrade who doesn't even play often.
In case you haven't noticed this team's 5v5 play is no good. I don't see why they are keeping lines together that aren't working instead of balancing things around the lineup. We're stuck with another kid line third line again this year that gets no minutes.

Again, i cant muster the energy to get upset about this. He wasnt going to be a Ranger after June 1 2022 either way. Maybe they couldve gotten more, but i have my doubts considering Reinhart is a comparable player and got a late 1st and a nothing prospect
