Wasn't it reported Fast didn't want to come back with the direction the team was going, plus he wanted more term?Seriously doubt the FO cares what the locker room thinks about moving Strome after we let Fast walk.
He won't get PP time, just like our kids dont get PP time. The issue that plagues him is probably similar to a lot of our guys... just stopped skating. Cherry picking.... but I feel like he used to always play well against us.This is my own personal bias and not based in any statistical analysis but I feel like Domi would take an annoying amount of minor penalties.
I also don’t really see where he fits on the power play here.
We already have a top shelf guy. No need for another. Steady backup. Sometimes incremental upgrades or boring moves are worth their weight in gold.I’ll pay BIG for a goalie… if we’re gonna upgrade - let’s get a top shelf guy …
My #1.is in play plus more .
I remember someone saying the Rangers were firm on 2 years. He wanted 3.Wasn't it reported Fast didn't want to come back with the direction the team was going, plus he wanted more term?
Huska would be our Talbot. Never pay for a backup goalie.I’ll pay BIG for a goalie… if we’re gonna upgrade - let’s get a top shelf guy …

Didn't we also have Krav, Kakko, Buch on the team/in the system? I don't think he wanted to play 4th line.I remember someone saying the Rangers were firm on 2 years. He wanted 3.
So, we lost Fast over that.... Gorton failed on that one
Yes, but the point I was replying to was that FO isnt going to make a move that's unpopular to the locker room at this juncture. Them not getting Fast to stay is about as unpopular with the locker room as could be, but they did it to save term. They will have no problems moving Strome if it improves the team in the near term.Wasn't it reported Fast didn't want to come back with the direction the team was going, plus he wanted more term?
He was a top6er with Quinn.Didn't we also have Krav, Kakko, Buch on the team/in the system? I don't think he wanted to play 4th line.
They won’t trade Jack. Local boy become fan favorite who was also apart of the Laine Dubois trade. I don’t see a fit with Cbus as a trade partners. If the trade partner is Cbus then they should target Texier or Roslovic, not Domi.
So we let Fast walk and traded Buch for his replacement all while hurtling Kravtsov into the sun? That sounds like disaster personnel management.Didn't we also have Krav, Kakko, Buch on the team/in the system? I don't think he wanted to play 4th line.
i you were a teammate of lindgren how could you not love the guy with the way he competes and plays? you take him any day on your team. if we didnt have him here we would be talking about how great it would be to trade for him.The way that Trouba talked about Lindgren last night made it sound like there would be a mutiny if he's dealt any time soon. You don't give him 7 or 8 years after this one to take him to 34 or 35, but a 4 or 5 year deal to take him to 29 or 30 is perfectly acceptable.
The 1st round pick is in play for a backup goalie who will play 20 games the rest of the way?I’ll pay BIG for a goalie… if we’re gonna upgrade - let’s get a top shelf guy …

Trouba for picks in the offseason
I'd be perfectly fine adding Domi. He has proven he is healthy, he won't be staying in Columbus past this year. With his struggles over the last couple of seasons he shouldn't ask for too much money or term and when he's on he plays like an 'ass' which this team appears to want more of. The team has plenty of cap space and he can play wing or center this season while they make a decision on whether they want to keep him around beyond this year.
Funny how at first glance, it's Robertson that I don't want to give up in this package. How about Dubois from the Jets?
Lundkvist, Kravtsov, Robertson and 1st in 2022 for Dubois and Copp?
Trouba isn't going anywhere and team's don't win Cups without a significant 30+ vet on the back end.
