Just watched the game recap, man i wish Gauthier would shoot more, he always seems to work his way out of a scoring chance.

For What it is worth, I just heard from a Bum that a minor NYR trade might be happening real soon. This Bum actually knows a lot of People in the know, But he also likes to pull peoples legs. A prospect for prospect deal is What he Said specifically. I dunno. Saturday night and he is Probably drunk… But if you would ask me it is an AHL defender for a forward. Reunanen?

Is a bum more reliable or less reliable than a donk?
 
Strome should not come back for the sole reason that he's probably one of the only spots we can upgrade on anymore. Half of this forward group is locked in unless something shocking happens. Kreider isn't going anywhere. Zib isn't going anywhere, Panarin isn't going anywhere, Goodrow probably isn't going anywhere, Blais was the key piece in the Buch trade and he's probably sticking around for a while, Reaves was likely guaranteed a permanent spot while he was here to facilitate that trade, Kakko and Laf aren't going anywhere. That leaves 4 spots that are occupied by Hunt/Rooney/Chytil/Strome (not counting Gaut for this purpose since he's only playing cause Blais is out).

Yeah I get that we don't have a better center than him waiting in the wings or anything but if they think this top 9 is missing a certain style of play Strome is one of the only impactful positions left that can be upgraded. I think signing him again would be a really bad idea but it's not because he's played poorly or is bad (quite the contrary, he's been one of our best players this year).

In addition, Strome’s play style is literally a winger. He can’t win face offs, he isn’t good defensively, he doesn’t make the other guys on his line better, etc. and especially with Mika in the netherworld, we can’t have head in the sand with this one. He’s got to goooooo

If Mika is out...certainly won't be McKegg centering Kreider and Goodrow.....right?

Barron call-up incoming? Gettinger or Brodzinski would be less likely.
