LA says no - they have no reason to trade 1 dollar for 4 quarters... Rangers do it for Kravstov and Lundkvist. I would think Othmann pushes it into a no. Berard or Cuylle prob doable.

Unless LA is shopping Turcotte for some reason then we’d have to vastly overpay. Kravstov value is at an all time low. Lundkvist is a nice prospect but there’s a reason we often put him in proposals.

Ultimately both teams stand pat for now. Neither GM wants to be the one to have major egg on his face in 5 years so it’s way too early.

Was thinking the same thing. If he keeps that effort up for 2-3 more games, why not try to reward him with a game with Zibby/kreider and see how that trio plays?

I think that wouldn't work. Zibanejad is slow as molasses these days and it will neuter Gauthier's ability to gain the zone with speed and support on entries. Chytil being f***ing greased lightning this season has really enabled Gauthier to be effective. One of the only skaters on the team who can keep up with him.

I'm just sick of Goodrow on that line, but I could be misdirecting my disappointment with Mika to him though.

My issue though is that I don't know that I want Lafreniere playing with LESS offensive talent in Goodrow at this point.

Would love Horvat. He is affordable @ $5.5 for next year’s cap. They could make it work. But I doubt VAN deals him although with the way things are going over there you never know.

Rangers would still have plenty of space this year to add a UFA Rental Top 6 winger like Reilly Smith even if they brought in Horvat.

Kreider and Mika are producing because they’re talented players, but they clearly miss Buch. Whether it comes from within or they go out and make a move that line needs a Right Winger.

I also have no idea what role Goodrow is supposed to play on the team. He’s not bad, but he just hasn’t fit so far.
