Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. So many things going on and so many story lines with teams across the league that it feels like this could be a crazy trade deadline. So you know that means it'll be totally uneventful.

The idea that the Jackets could trade Panarin and then use some assets to add Hayes who may re-sign there and be a real nice 2C long term seems to make a lot of sense for that team.

A top prospect + a 2nd for Zucc + Webster sounds like a great deal. The heck are they waiting for?
CBJ is a team that seems to have so many assets. They have drafted really well out of Europe the last years. People here in Sweden are really raving about Emil Bemstrom. RHS sniper/offensive dynamo. I don’t know what type of upside he really has, but he creates a lot of offense. Very hard to get a hold of. They have so many younger NHL players. Picks shouldn’t be an issue.
Hayes for Boone Jenner, Bemstrom and their 1st? I always liked Liam Foudy too. I am probably dreaming too much. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Gorts could find his satisfactions met if CBJ were after Hayes. Would CBI believe that they can resign Hayes though?

Don't know about Columbus, they don't seem to have too many high end prospects. Would we settle for something like Andrew Peeke and 1st?

Teams that are trading for Zucc will pretty much have low/mid ____ for a pick.
Can't have both high and low picks. It's one or the other, and most likely it'll be low/mid from teams trading for Zucc. So you can just say "1st versus 2nd+prospect"

Mhmmm. Teams aren't trading the higher picks unless super needed.
GMs would probably much rather trade a low 2nd + low 5th or something like that instead of trading the higher pick.
Also, highly likely the buying teams won't have those high picks from other teams to begin with. Those will have already been spent in previous drafts/trades to get the players that have gotten them to the point where they're contending to begin with.

Yeah I get all that, but buying teams generally aren't going to have high picks.
