Do your usage stats take into account that the first/last 10 seconds of a shift are often not representative of the actual usage?

I know it sucks, but maybe it’s time to realize that you can’t be the smartest guy in the room, even a hockey chat room, by taking short cuts, playing a little EA sports and checking a graph — either?

Move on and try to find another hobby, but it’s tough for you guys when the digital world have beaten out the extremely isolated fanzine based obscure subsections of society. There is competition everywhere...

I don’t quote the Bible that often but “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye. shall find!”

;)

We really should not be dealing from a position of weakness. Our defense has looked the worst it has ever looked in the last ~13 years, and I believe Pionk is more valuable to the Rangers than he is in a trade. Our blueline, even with the “plethora” of assets in the somewhat near future (I say plethora because we still need more defensive assets), are not guaranteed to be serviceable in the NHL. Plus I am not over the moon about Pool Party.

Can anyone come up with a comparable trade to a potential Zucc deal?

30yr old, Smaller winger, PP guy, 50-60pt producer, rental

Often see a Hayes deal compared to Hanzal, with a greater expectation as Hayes is younger and maybe all around the better player.

Trying to think of one that can be used to compare a Zucc deal?

The middle of the Nash return and the Grabner return. Either a 1st and a Rykov-type prospect or a better prospect (Addison?) and a 2nd.

TJ Oshie is the one that comes to mind. Hudler to a lesser degree.

Jiri Hudler (2nd + 4th)
Martin Hanzal (1st + 2nd + Downing)*
TJ Oshie (Brouwer, Copley, 3rd)

Trade also included a 4th and Ryan White together with Hanzal

Erat for Forsberg. :naughty:

No way a rental Zuuc, even if Rangers retain and takeTalbot, is worth that. That 1st round pick can easily be a top ten pick. If Edmonton trade this pick it has to be for a player at least a couple of years younger and with term.

Oilers are desperate, currently 3 pts out of a playoff spot. And McDavid has been whining in the media that he wants to leave if things don't get better soon. They need scoring.

But rumors are flying on twitter now about a Zucc deal, that several teams have signed up. Almost sounds like a bidding war coming. Then a 1st should be within reach, perhaps even more.

That's not what he said at all. He said that they can turn it around and anyone that doesn't want to be there can leave.

Bruins fan here . I really like how you guys picked up ryan strome and feel he's gonna pick it up and he's still relatively young 25 yrs old. Any players or prospects from Bruins would interest you ?

He's been pretty good since the trade and much or literally all of what he is doing is from a 3rd or 4th line role. He's adapted and in doing so has turned into a good story.

Assuming Jake Debrusk would be off the table from the B's, one player that I wanted in last years draft was Jacob Lauko. Kind of shocked he fell to the 3rd round. Was pissed that NYR had so many picks and passed him up. Would be interested in him as a start.

Jost + COL 1st ‘19 (top-10 protected, rolls over to automatic 2020 1st) + Conditional 2020 1st (if Hayes resigns, if COL 1st ‘19 is top-10 and Hayes re-signs, this pick becomes COL 1st 2021) + Meloche for Hayes + Vesey
