To acquire Max Domi, he and Lemieux would have to enter a boxing ring to workout their differences....
Which means they'd probably end up becoming best friends.

I would take the Hagelin contract back if they retained 750k on it. He'd be fine bottom six depth at that hit.I liked Hagelin a lot but he's pretty much done so that's definitely a no.
McMichael and a 1st for Kreider at 50% I think might work though.
There's no getting around that his size helps him. Just like speed helps some guys, or being a physical specimen helps others. Everyone has their gifts.
But, seriously, Byfield's hands and playmaking are great. Being big doesn't help you find the open man or improve your edge-work while skating.
I think he's one of the most intriguing prospects to come along in a very long time. And while you can argue that he's bigger than his peers, and it benefits from that advantage, you also have to consider that he is younger than a lot of his competition as well.
Lafreniere's parents were close to getting ready for his first birthday celebration when Byfield was being brought home from the hospital. That's how much of a gap we're talking about between the two.
At this stage, that's significant.
I can’t even imagine what it would be like to add a player of his caliber to our organization. To me, that’s worth so much more than almost missing the playoffs or making the 8th seed and losing in round 1.

I’ve only watched him once but something seemed missing. Just couldn’t identify what it was. There's no getting around that his size helps him. Just like speed helps some guys, or being a physical specimen helps others. Everyone has their gifts.

ThisByfield is my prospect crush this year.
Lefreniere's skills are elite, and he's done nothing to lose his place at the top of this list. I just think Byfield has a chance to be a dangerous player who is incredibly hard to stop. This is kid who would've been projected as a star back in 2000, but has the toolbox to play in 2020.
Keep him thenDreger said Leafs interested in Georgiev. I think his value is probably Bracco and a pick

And the gap is so large that I would be shocked if Byfield was as complete and dynamic a player as Lafreniere is a year from now.
Nope.Dreger said Leafs interested in Georgiev. I think his value is probably Bracco and a pick
