try 4.5 per, 36 total, otherwise yeahIf I’m drury I throw 8 years $40mm in front of Cuylle and see if he signs.
$5M per will be an absolute steal for him in the futureIf I’m drury I throw 8 years $40mm in front of Cuylle and see if he signs.
Gamble for both parties, but considering power forwards develop slowly and often decline precipitously in their 30's, it's a better gamble for the Rangers than WillIf I’m drury I throw 8 years $40mm in front of Cuylle and see if he signs.
Make sure he has a YMC so we can flip him in 3 years for maaaaxxxx profits! If I’m drury I throw 8 years $40mm in front of Cuylle and see if he signs.
Pietrangelo was so good in those playoffs. There's not a single Hall of Famer there. That's tits on a bull when it comes to Cup winning rosters.
I think he would ask for over 60mm for 8 years, and he’ll end up 5.85 for 3 or 4 years. If I’m drury I throw 8 years $40mm in front of Cuylle and see if he signs.
Good luck getting Miller and Cuylle to agree with that. Here's my suggestion for Drury. If you're giving out nmc, never ever give it for the length of the contract, 2 years sure, then it has to shift to 15 team, and in the final year there's no limit to teams. So for Miller and Cuylle this should happen
Good luck getting Miller and Cuylle to agree with that.
Really dislike Jones. Too small, likes to force it, and is prone to mistakes and penalties.
He made a dumb play tonight when the team was gassed after some back and forth and he tried to force a rush which after a bad pass resulted in him taking a penalty.
Will Cuylle needs to be resigned before the draft.

The New York Rangers Likey To Lose Two Players to Offer Sheets this postseaso: Per Insider
Could the New York Rangers lose two RFA's in July?www.nyrangersinsider.com
Well then the Rangers are essentially returning the same group. The team has no money for anything unless the Rangers aren't planning on re-signing their young guys. That plan really worked out for Edmonton losing Borberg and Hollway to offer sheets. At the trade deadline, Edmonton was looking for another top 6-9 physical winger and top 4 D. The Oilers had those players and lost them in Holloway and Broberg.I don't think you care.....you just want him gone but some of us might wonder is this year's Kreider the Kreider we're going to see next year and beyond or is is going to rebound a bit and be more like he was last year?
I think Drury might trade him over the summer anyway but a reason to wonder about where he is is what if this guy goes to Tampa or Boston or Montreal and sticks in 35 goals and 60 points? Not even quite what he did last year but still pretty damn good for a $6.5 mil contract. What then if we've retained half his salary and only got a 4/5th rounder for him? Would not then IMO be good asset management. I'm not convinced that this season isn't just a one off shit year. He's always had his lackadaisical moments and we've seen plenty of those this year but more than less he looks like the same player to me as in the past.....just not producing.
Not to get me wrong if our GM wants to trade him I'd say go right ahead but I don't want to be retaining salary or trading him for some hockey tape and a bag of pucks.

The other guys on the Rangers have NMC's and they don't want to leave. The Rangers aren't a Cup contender and all of their key forwards are in their 30's.
If I were Gabe Perreault's family or his advisor, my advice would be to stay at BC for one more season. Maybe explore free agency in 2027. There is no room for Perreault on the Rangers and staying in school is better than riding the bus in the AHL. Gabe will struggle and everyone will say see the Rangers should have traded him. He is a bust. He can't skate. He is too small.
Cuylle's path is blocked. Othmann's path to more than just playing on the 4th line is blocked. Let's trade one of the few players willing to go to the net. Poor Lafreniere never gets any PP1 time.
Let's trade Miller, Schneider and Lafreniere instead so the Rangers can bring in a top 4 D who is big, physical, can skate really and very good defensively who can prop up Fox. Does that player even exist? Brilliant strategy. Seven years down the road, the Rangers can bring them back after they already played their best hockey in another city.
First unit PP and PK is just blocking other players. Kreider will be 34.

Kreider is getting waived if he doesn’t waive. People can fanfic their own negative outcomes as they usually do here but we just saw the exact scenario play out with Goodrow and Trouba.
Posted this in the PGT but I'm on the other side of this coin. I won't root against them, but would much prefer this year's pick to next.I would prefer the rangers make the playoffs and give up the first rounder than leave it to next season when the pick would be unprotected.
