Can’t wait for the Kreider rumours
Could use the cap space but take back a descent F

Nice job where you can quit and still get paid. He should have accepted the trade in the summer.
You're the one who is bringing that up. Nobody here mentioned her tonight.Nice job bringing his wife info the situation
The only time his wife was brought up through this entire thing is when I put quotes from an article where Trouba himself mentioned his familyNice job bringing his wife info the situation

Regardless, he accepted a trade 3 months later, so obviously his wife's job wasn't the big deal it was initially made out to be.
Feels like the team is just getting more mid instead of any closer to a contender.
True but we also need to get the pick obligation off the books this draft.Them missing the playoffs will be better than a first round exit.
If that is the case, I hope our pick is 14th or worse. Don't want that first sliding to next year.Them missing the playoffs will be better than a first round exit.
If our top pick of Mr. Lafreniere was even close to his potential we would be closer to a contender than mid.Feels like the team is just getting more mid instead of any closer to a contender.
Can't help but wonder about Schneider here. People spent 6 years sucking all the oxygen up about the lottery bros, but Schneider is going on 5 years here unable to be more than a decent 3rd pairing PK guy.
If teams are still high on this guy, I don't know what the rangers are doing holding onto him much longer.
As the roster stands - Jones, Vaakanainen or de Haan would be healthy scratches. If we get into the playoffs and Fox returns, then 2 make the playoffs. Would Drury move one of the D or package them for another deal? Fox, K'Andre Miller ,Will Borgen, and Soucy won't be moved. I doubt Schneider would be..... so... are we done?
Can't put all the blame on one dude.If our top pick of Mr. Lafreniere was even close to his potential we would be closer to a contender than mid.
These guys are pro athletes who get enough special treatment simply for existing. However, part of the deal when you play pro sports is very few guys get to set their own terms & even fewer get to spend their entire career in one city. In exchange for that, they get paid more money in one calendar year than the majority of us will see in a lifetime. They also never have to work a real job for the rest of their lives. Sure they get criticized & some of it crosses the line, but they can choose to ignore it & they never even need to know it exists if they stay off social media or don't read the papers. You guys are just sour on a guy who didn’t want to be here anymore after he knew the organization wanted to move on.
I’m just tired of seeing players, former or current get thrown through the mud.
Also it’s just plain good for the sport for teams to have the ability to move players over their objection. If I'm getting paid $8M a year, there's little I care about. Defending his behavior is ridiculous.
Wayne Gretzky was traded, Jagr was traded, Bobby Orr was traded. Spare me any of this outrage that somehow he was so wronged because he wasn't playing well & the team wanted to move on. And when all was said & done he wound up getting paid to play hockey in a place where it’s sunny every day & the golf courses are always green.
Lafreniere in a bigger deal?
Peterka is very good.
I didn't say anything about his wife, so I have no idea what you're trying to say. Maybe you are conflating my comment with something someone else said.Nice job bringing his wife info the situation
Can't put all the blame on one dude.
If even one of our multiple top 10 picks over the last 10 years hit.... We would be closer to a contender than mid.

Peterka is a terrific talent. I rather not do the deal unless Kreider is going. It would probably cost too much. Why are they trading Peterka? Did I miss something?
