So no waiver wire pickup and no callup. Please don't tell me they're going to go 11/7 again and give Strome top six minutes while limiting Gettinger's shifts. That's just bad in every way. It also shows how the org feels about Boo and Lettieri (I know Hartford plays tonight and is fairly close to Montreal since those two teams played in the old Adam Division).

Flyers have cap room to add Nylander. They're going to be shipping out parts soon regardless.

As for Soshnikov, I spoke to a friend from Missouri and he told me he's not bad but can be a little bit of a head case at times so take that for what it's worth.

Brooks said we’re practing with the same group but are planning on calling up a forward for tomorrow.

Well they could be expecting someone to be healthy for tomorrow. Alternatively they could be working out a trade instead of just taking a contract off someone's books for free. That's the tricky part about waiver claims that's often overlooked. You add a contract without sending one out.

They could have had a claim in for Zykov and missed out and just haven't yet made the call to compensate for not getting him.

I'd go Gettinger-Fogarty-Mesakanen tomorrow. Lot of size compared to the likes of Spooner and Lettieri on the 4th line.

Vinni torched the AHL since being sent down.

Deserved call up. Do something with it now that McLord isn't opposite on the line.

I wish we can give a thumbs down to posts.

You’re trying to hard...

Ironically your name is Heckler, I love it.

C'mon you know that's how the stereotypical Rangers fan talks. As I said again, my humor isn't for everybody but I will never stop trying. The main boards for as vile and nasty as they can be have some really funny stuff.

Also as your post above says, what am I trying to harden? Maybe the word too.

Lettieri getting called up according to Brooks

Goody for us

This is his chance, play like a bat out of hell. It would be silly to play him with Fogarty and Gettinger and have them play two shift after the second. Put Vinni with Mika and Fast, keep Chytil/Hayes/Kreider together, and move Strome down to the 4th line. Anderson with the Howden/Vesey duo please.

He only played 4 games there didnt he? I guess the reasoning is likely that we need a right winger for the lineup but I'd like to see what Nieves could do.
