Seriously. He's the one of this entire group I want to be the long-term Ranger vet for the foreseeable future. He brings so much to the table and is seemingly improving still. I can live with pretty much all of the other guys from his era leaving in time but I'd really like to see Kreider stick around as long as possible.

Offensively We have 4 top 6 forwards and a good bottom 3/6. We NEED 2 veteran bottom 6 guys on cheap contracts AND 2 elite top 6 guys.(sign Panarin and it’s just 1) 1 center and one wing

Defensively we have a VERY GOOD bottom 4 with ADA possibly making it as a #2. We NEED a top flight RHD.

We have Skjei/Zucc/one of Hayes/Zibby to trade to fill some of these needs, NOT COUNTING OUR PROSPECTS.

IF GMJG MAKES SOME GOOD MOVES WE COULD BE PRETTY CLOSE TO COMPETING SOONER THAN WE THINK. Even though I have the patience to wait longer if necessary

I would definitely pump the brakes on that. I don't see us competing next year even in a top RHD falls out of the sky. Chytil, Andersson, Howden, ADA, Pionk all have a lot to prove still.
