Yeah but the Rangers have Lindgren. Thats a bigger issue than the Isles missing Barzal or the Jackets missing Marchenko. It's not a question of whether or not he's going to f*** them out of wins between now and the TDL, it's how many wins is he going to f*** them out of.

They can probably afford to drop at maximum 10 more games between now and the end of the season.

Hopefully not for long. There is a middle ground between effectively identifying and correcting issues with the team, and tanking and rebuilding. A lot of people havent found that distinction. The Rangers are as capable as any team to go on a hot streak that gets them in.

Watching this now and 3C was just discussed. Larry mentioned the possibility of the 4th line getting more time to potentially spell the 3rd for the time being and it got me thinking about the short term solution for 3C that I’m all for: Adam Edstrom

Why would I be trolling. -9 in 19 games for a rookie is very expected, but they're going for a PO spot and having your 4th line be neutral or even positive is something that wins games in the aggregate.

That line is going to suffer getting pucks deep without Big Ed. Vesey has played all season like a vet who's uninterested, unable, and trailing the play. But maybe since it's now his entrenched job, there's a little more life to him.

Rangers are better off playing Vesey with the hope he is enough as they work to get into playoff position by the trade deadline then re-evaluate OR he plays well thus providing himself some level of trade value at the deadline. I dont see the benefit of playing Berard on the 4th line in limited minutes unless Vesey completely falls on his face. Berard is still developing and needs real minutes. Obviously this holds even more true for Othmann.

i thought everyone agreed a decade ago that +/- is useless, let alone over a 19 game sample size. carry on i guess
