the only thing that stands out to me is 2 shifts before his last, when he gets sandwiched between a Stars player and an official behind the Dallas net (around 10:35 left in the 2nd). It looks like very minor contact, but it is two bumps in rapid succession
And like I said, it doesn't have to bee much to trigger something if you have a serious history with concussions, which he does. I mean it could be anything but didn't Lavy say "it's the same issue as before" in the post game presser?

For those keeping score this season:

Trouba traded for nothing
If we would have stopped right here, and recognized this was a full year down we would have been in decent shape. The Trouba trade was great. The problem is everything that happened afterwards made no sense.
Kakko traded for nothing/Jones about to be traded for nothing
This is such a pity and was completely unnecessary
Chytil +2 concussions
Kreider broken back
Can’t control the injuries though
Igor back breaking extension
This never should have happened said it for years and was tarred and feathered for it. Made less and less sense. Still doesn’t.

Stupid half measure approach always bites you in the ass

What's the fascination with JT Miller? He is another 32 year old athlete signed to a big contract. The core group of forwards are older players. Chris Kreider and Artemi Panarin will be 34 years old this year. Mika Zibanejad and Vincent Trocheck will be 32 years old. These lateral moves are terrible. The status quo stinks.

The Rangers are stuck in the quagmire with the other below average teams in the eastern conference. The team needs a wrecking ball to begin a new era. The Rangers are four points out of 8th but there are 5 teams ahead of them. Loser points. It's hard to make up ground. The Rangers had bigger aspirations than 8th seed in the EC.

Brooks says the vibes around the team are better. What does that mean? So we were mad at Chris Drury for the first 35 games for waiving Barclay Goodrow and attempting to trade Jacob Trouba but now we have started getting serious about the season.

Rangers fans need to do this.

FIRE DRURY

Sweeney is in a tough spot. Bergeron retired. Krejci retired. Boston signed Lindholm to a big contract hoping they were getting the Lindholm from 2021-22. Traded away picks for rentals. Traded picks for Lindholm. They are always at the bottom of the first round if they have a pick. Some of their picks haven't really worked out. Lysell. Their lineup has no offensive depth.

Ugh, chytil out again? Thankfully we can move Kakko back to center again.

Oh wait..
Johnny Brodzynski time.

Now that Rempe has finished his sentence in persecution prison they should send down Matt to continue his development and bring up Grouxl.
BOG has looked real good in Hartford this season. High energy guy, with skill and drive. Give Grouxl 4 games and see what he has.

Says Rangers discussed a larger trade than just Mika for Miller. Canucks love Schneider but rangers have turned them down multiple times. Regarding Zac Jones trade request, there is interest in him but not from other teams like us who have small soft bluelines.

They should put Rempe in for Vesey, team is soft as butter without him. No heart, no pulse, no swagger. Fat Maroon knows it, the whole league knows it.

Turn the other cheek Alain Vigneault mentality, we've had for a decade. This team needs players and a coaching staff who give a f*** about defending and going to the tough areas to score. Not playing for odd man rushes where their rate of getting even a shot on goal is like 1-10.

Chytil's injury may not be his head. For all we know, he hurt his shoulder or wrist reaching for a puck.

Miller last night, beyond his gaff, I thought was much better. He was physical on multiple occasions with Benn specifically. When he engages physically, his game improves substantially.

It's so apparent that the team started being checked out this summer. Did anyone come into the season in shape? Maybe Cuylle? It's almost like the season ended, everyone gave themselves a pat on the back for a job not done, and were floored when Drury tried to make changes to a roster that every fan knew was not good enough. Unfortunate our dumb entitled players had to find out this way. Clearly the sulking started then and has continued. The lack of leadership is truly astounding. And why are people confused that the rangers want JT Miller or Brady Tkachuk? Because they play with passion. Something these cretins dont have. As long as the check cashes and the NMC is active, why should our guys push themselves? I feel terrible for Jonathan Quick who is chasing history as the first American born player to win 400, and K'Andre Miller has the audacity to make a stupid play like that. They dont play for each other and they dont support their goalies, who have carried them for however many years.

Rightfully or wrongfully, they probably want Miller for the same reason that he is becoming a problem in Anaheim. They want want to give him a leadership role in changing the locker room dynamic. He’d come here, be captain, and be empowered to go apeshit on all his team mates. Which may or may not be lateral, but from an attitude perspective would not be status quo.
The Rangers are stuck in the quagmire with the other below average teams in the eastern conference. The team needs a wrecking ball to begin a new era. They just need to miss the playoffs. Drury and Laviolette get canned and we start over. That was always going to be the end result anyway. Hell I’m sure Drury could have been canned already if they didn’t feel like they’d be rewarding this group by doing so. But they’ve created so many chicken/egg issues at this point (of their own making) that it’s not only hard to draw a line, it’s also easy to say the line they drew was in the wrong place
Brooks says the vibes around the team are better. What does that mean? So we were mad at Chris Drury for the first 35 games for waiving Barclay Goodrow and attempting to trade Jacob Trouba but now we have started getting serious about the season.
I’m not convinced Brooks knows what vibes means. He’s probably just heard Mollie say it a couple of times and is guessing.

Miller is always good beyond his gaffes, but his gaffes are goals on silver platters.

No argument from me. Just that in the last week he has been better in the 95% of his game

Been saying it for 2 years.

If and when Chytil is back and playing well, try to move him for a decent return.

They will lose him for nothing.

This was my take a week ago too.

With JT, I think the question is why they want to add another high priced talent above 30.

It sounds like they tried to basically replace Zibanejad with him and okay, that makes the most sense if you’re going to do it. How much longer is JT going to play at the level he’s been at the last few years?

It makes sense from a play style POV but it’s another guy whose best days are behind him and had a long term high dollar deal.

Friedman also wrote in 32T that Trocheck is the guy other teams covet, but the Rangers arent interested in dealing him and are more likely to make him captain. I would be absolutely fine with this. the problem with the rangers captaincy is that its made into a bigger deal than it needs to be. the team needs cohesion and a leader, throw the C on Trocheck so he has the clout to say what he feels. Probably would help if the Rangers traded for his childhood teammate who has a reputation for being demanding of his teammates. if Braden Schneider is what it takes to get JT and offload Mika, I think you do it. Rangers can go with Fox, Borgen, Mancini on the right. rather trade K'Andre but he's going elsewhere hopefully soon.
