2 proposed trades in this article. One by Drance and one by Staple.
Drance: Chytil/Schneider/Othmann and a 3rd for JT and Hoglander
Staple: Mika and Lafreniere for JT and Garland.
Id do both.
That’s wrong. Half the board is motherf***ing Lindgren every game, him himself.

I know we are down again on Laf (and no one more I would rather get rid of than Mika) but are we really trading them for another 32 year old on a monster contract? I like Miller but for how much longer is he gonna play at a high level?
I can't believe the cost to get rid of Mika is adding Lafreniere. It's come to this. ugh
Agree. Or Schneider.I know we are down again on Laf (and no one more I would rather get rid of than Mika) but are we really trading them for another 32 year old on a monster contract? I like Miller but for how much longer is he gonna play at a high level?

It has to be in some peoples minds. This is a dark ages type a trade. Trade a 22/23 year old on a decent contract for a guy who has another year or 2 before he does the Mika drop off. That’s not the cost of getting rid of Mika.
This is an Islander clown bascially trying to wish cast Laf to Vancouver. This is the same asshole who more or less wanted to float the rumor that Laf had substance issues last year before the glow up.
Yeah I agree. The guy I would never have got rid of would be Chytil but his inability to stay on the ice is concerning. Either way Mika has to be going back . There is no way we can have two contracts like Mika and Miller on this team.Agree. Or Schneider.
You have to give to get unfortunately.
The problem is I feel like JT will ultimately get moved somewhere for less.
Mika plus something (Ill even give them Chytil if theyll take the risk) to just get him off the team.
I'd keep Laf and i dont think they intend on moving him either.
That's another thing.f*** off Larry. Dudes been bashing Kreider for weeks for his play, who’s actually injured. But wants us to get out the violins for poor Ryan Lindgren
Ryan Lindgren would be making league minimum shuttling between the AHL and NHL if not for Adam Fox.
Of course our best young player can never stay healthy. Unreal

Both trades are dumb for many reasons.

Staple has been trying to trade Lafreniere for Garland since since 2022 for some reason.I don’t think anyone genuinely hates Lindgren the person.
The player and his usage deserves to be mother f***ed. It isn’t completely on him though and now we get into why some of us did not like Laviolette hire.
I would do neither but Staple’s is on crack.
Thanks goodness and lets hope that's true. Getting rid of Schneider would just expose this d even more. This team should not be trading any early 20 somethings for guys in theor third 30's with monster contracts. If they make a trade with a chip like K'Andre it has to be for a young center or dman. I know its not easy but that is what Drury gets paid the big bucks for. It’s in Staples mind. Seen or heard nothing from anyone credible that they’re even considering it.
There was something that came out yesterday that the Rangers shot down including Schneider in a deal to Vancouver from EF who had actual street cred.
I am not only one of the biggest Rempe booster's, I am the first one on these boards. This is an indisputable fact.et tu @Clark Kellogg , et tu?
Rempe up immediately
the A is NOT the environment to up his skills AT NHL LEVEL
minimal benefit of more reps is NOT a substitute for getting NHL experience to maintain an NHL career
Rempe now
Vesey for a 6th/7th anywhere
Then yeah, open to Grouxl
Yeah, I second that, eff you Larry
Also, this is what I have been saying
THE FANS are first
without us, no ability to sustain clubs/league
which = players last in this equation
once again, bern is usually right, learn with da bern

That line got caved in last night but like you said who cares about one game? He also almost set up Trocheck for the go-ahead goal in the 3rd that Trocheck missed.Berard and Cuylle barely play. We do this with every forward prospect and then wonder what happened.
And yeah, Berard sucked ass last night. I literally don't care. That's just game to game variance. He should be playing.
Unless he does. But youre rightThere is no point in even considering trading Chytil because he will never bring anything back even close to what his ability is worth because he is a huge injury risk for the team taking him on.
If we did get Hagens, 2026 would just be Cuylle-Hagens-Berard for 10 minutes every night. That line got caved in last night but like you said who cares about one game? He also almost set up Trocheck for the go-ahead goal in the 3rd that Trocheck missed.
