Remember when Gorton fleeced Boston for an over the hill 3rd line Rick Nash... hopefully Drury has the stones to pull something like that off for Kreider. I have zero faith in him at this point. Any day now I'm prepared to see a trade notification saying Drury traded Kreider for Kevin Hayes or something because we need another center after Chytil gets hurt for the 1 millionth time....

... because that'll save the season.

Nothing is saving this season. And frankly we shouldn't want to. We need the gift of a high draft pick...one that actually delivers.

Rangers are now dead last in the Metro.
That's fine. Stink this year and start a retool. This league is so much like the NFL. Next year with some good moves they're back.

Wow, Miller being brutally honest and throwing some heavy darts at the players and the locker room.
Honestly good. Maybe it's Miller out of all these idiots who takes the bulls by the horn and shows leadership.

Miller can stay. Haha

Fire Lavi and Housley. Peca HC.

The only reason I don't want Drury fired yet is cause if they hire a new GM they might keep some of these guys (Kreider, Mika, Lindgren, etc.) Instead of trading them like we should.

Then fire Drury. Dean Lombardi. Brian Burke. Who cares. Just someone that isn't a former ranger/Boston yes man/sather crony. A real GM with a real idea about drafting, developing and trading for a real team.

I’m intrigued on what the return on Kreider is going to be, because he looks f***ing awful.

No idea how bad his injury is affecting his play, but them getting a terrible return for him would be the cherry on top of this shit season

That mixed with the fact that I don’t trust Drury to make a good trade

Going full Bern with trades during two windows, now to the TDL and then the offseason.

TDL:

Kreider and Borgen (50% retained) to the Wild for Heidt, Stramel, Trenin (cap dump) and 2026 #1.

Lindgren (50% retained) to Dallas for a 2026 #2 and 2025 #5.

Riley Smith (50% retained) to Vegas for Sharks 2025 #3 and 2026 #5.

Vesey to any contender for a 2025 #5.

Offseason:

Rangers get a top 3 pick in the draft and take Hagens.

Zib and the Wild 2026 #1 for JT Miller (likely the only trade that could get rid of Zib due to being same age, term and only $500k difference in money along with the Pettersson/Miller issues).

Panarin with $4M retained to Dallas for Bischel, Hemming or Bertucci, 2026 #1 and 2027 #2 (Becomes a #1 if Dallas wins the cup or re-signs Panarin).

Flip Trenin for a pick ans/or prospect, retaining 50%.

Sign Rantanen, Frederic and Grzelyck.

Give Garand a shot a backup. Give the kids a chance to play.

Laff - JT Miller - Rantanen
Cuylle - Hagens - Perreault
Othmann - Chytil - Berard
Edstrom - Frederic - Rempe
Carrick

K. Miller - Fox
Bischel - Schneider
Grzelyck - Mancini

He has value around the league and is just a half a year removed from a 40 goal season. If his back is what's really bothering him and the team acquiring him is convinced he'll come back to form after some rest, he'll get a small fortune.

A team trades for him in late February before the deadline and shuts him down on LTIR until the playoffs start, allowing that team to still add more at the deadline. Three playoff runs of Kreider is worth quite a bit.

At the end of the day, I'd say he gets back a 1st and a damn good prospect with no retention.

I’m hoping that’s the case, I just have a hard time believing it lol

nice roster, nerd. 2 things:

1. never go full Bern
2. this isn't even close to full Bern

Stay reality based.

I want K’Andre Miller gone, yesterday. There has to be a hockey trade here. Ducks wanted him at draft time, follow Trouba on the United flight.

Lindgren can go well as well. Take a 2nd back.

Reilly Smith was a mistake, clear desperation. It was all dead on arrival. Take a pick back and cut losses.

The Rangers season. Slip Slidin' Away.

I have never heard this song until Russo was playing it for the Yankees. There was one year in the World Series where the Yankees looked vulnerable. 2000?

The Rangers are so bad. You can only laugh or cry.

The Rangers are being punked by RDS in French

Who would have predicted that after 35 games, the CH and the Rangers would have the same number of points in the standings!?
