Where does Trouba want to spend the next 6-7 years playing? The girlfriend will play a major role. I am assuming Trouba is planning to marry her and she will have a major say in the decision. He has been in Winnipeg. She has been in Florida.

I can't believe that people give him as much **** as they do. When I fall behind on a thread, I literally skim for tweets and posts by @RangerBoy @bobbop @BBKers (and a few other high-quality posters), and ignore everything else.

NYC’s not a bad place to be a doctor. And it probably doesn’t hurt having a fiancé who plays for the New York Rangers when your looking for a job. Real good investigative research there though

What I meant by nagging, was it wasn't enough to keep him out of the line-up. A lot of guys play when they can. It what separates Hockey players from beeyotches like baseball players.

I understand, but hamstring injuries are like groin injuries. They are anything but nagging. They hamper at your ability to explode and make sudden movements. Lots of guys play through some nagging injures, but you are gutting it out on a hurt hamstring. If you have ever had a hamstring or a groin injury, you know what I mean.

I've always felt uncomfortable when I see posts about certain players (or personnel) that makes certain assumptions about their motivations or personality. In some cases, they're people I've worked with or know, and I think we get a little too bold in our familiarity with situations. Some of that is a result of technology. Social media, streaming video, news sites, etc. make us feel like we're getting a peak behind the curtain. Those tools can also perpetuate rumors and falsehoods that were misreported at the time, and subsequently accepted as fact, if not lore.

But I think many people would be amazed to learn how guys they think of as a POS are good people, and how many people they admire are really not as great as they might believe.

But there's this strange desire to create heroes and villains, or try to extrapolate conclusions based on scattered pieces of information. It's just too easy to take shots at people from behind a screen name, or without having to look them in the eyes and question their integrity or motives.
