It depends on the offer. The compensation is always the following year's picks, so if we were to offer sheet someone this summer, the compensation would include picks in 2026. The picks would have to be our own, not ones that originally belonged to other teams.Don’t you need all your own picks to even make a serious offer sheet?
Depending on the level of the offer, the compensation varies from nothing up to four 1st round picks. If we give Pittsburgh this year's 1st, we will then have our 1st and 3rd in 2026 that could be used for an offer sheet.
If we have our 1st and 3rd, we could offer someone a contract in the $4,580,917 - $6,871,374 range.
