8.7 million until 2030/31 and with all the expiring Rangers contracts at season’s end, don’t see it.
I mean as absurd as that own goal was it's still better than whatever the f*** Quick did against Seattle.

Not that Kakko has been good lately, bit demoting him while continuing to trot out Zibs with top 6 ice time is so Rongos it's infuriating.
A coach with balls would bench zibby and play Kakko/Brodz/whoever.
Also send a message and give that PP2 all the PP1 time. PP1 has been hot garbage for too long.

I think you may be misreading the data. If he sucks on the PP, how did he get 13 points in his 1st season? Maybe it's because he spent some time on PP1, and averaged 2:14 per game on the PP. Since then, he hasn't averaged more than 1:19 per game.
Here are the PP goals in which he got a point in the 2019-20 season, from last to first:
Mika from Kakko and Lemieux
Kreider from Kakko and Mika
Howden from Lemieux and Kakko
Chytil from Kakko and Fox
Panarin from Kreider and Kakko
Mika from Kakko and Panarin
Fox from Kakko and Trouba
Panarin from Kakko and Fox
Panarin from Kakko and Strome
Kakko from Strome and DeAngelo
Panarin from Kakko and DeAngelo
Kakko from Strome and Panarin
DeAngelo from Strome and Kakko
2 goals, 8 primary assists, and 13 points overall.
DeAngelo was on the 1st unit for most of the year. Kakko got more PP ice time that year than Fox.
7th most PP ice time, tied for 5th in PP points.
If Kakko sucks on the PP, then I guess Laf, Chytil and Cuylle do too, because they don't get significant PP time either.

Those would be some big pluses to the Wings. He's their franchise 1C. Think 1st plus Perreault or 2 1sts + Kakko.
Larkin/Chytil/Trocheck/Carrick down the middle would be really solid though. Larkin on a more skilled team would be so good and he plays the right way.
Other problem is he has a full NTC thru 2027.

Yeah the note about him not being a PP guy was more a failed attempt at humor- I think it won't make a substantial difference in his offensive production. Let's put it that way.

Kakko has been very much a part of the problem these last two weeks. he's playing on one of two lines doing anything at ES and he's done utter f*** all with it.

You're right on that. It amazes me that Lavi's only solution is to change PP2. Unless he's planning to start PP2 and give them the majority of the time, nothing is going to change.
