Wrong, based on math and additionally,Go deal with your stuff. These "explanations" of what you really meant are a complete waste of time and need a decoding ring to decipher.
Teams don't "extend their window" by dealing half of their starters in fantasy deals that will only happen on NHL 25 and even that program might crash trying to figure out the nonsense.
NMC's are part of offering competitive contracts in the NHL. If you don't offer them, you're not competitive and you're not signing high level players. Again, you being completely unrealistic. The merits are there, you're just unwilling to acknowledge them.
1. handful of vets does NOT = half of their starters.
2. "fantasy deals" is false, you do not offer any substantiation to your allegations.
Each deal had a credible basis for both sides;
e.g., KAM + Othmann was enuf profit for ANA, etc.
You want to dispute that, fine that is a matter of opinion, but you will require a legit basis to counter why not credible.
3. "NMC's are part of offering competitive contracts in the NHL. If you don't offer them, you're not competitive and you're not signing high level players." Not true in all cases. Sure, some will insist and in such situations you just say no. IMO sufficiently extensive NTCs can satisfy in lieu of NMCs, esp if you add a few $ at signing time.
