Crazy how the team's regression seems so perfectly timed with shoehorning Lindgren back into the lineup.
Lindgren was fine against the ducks.
I’m willing to give him a few more games before agreeing. He wasn’t the only problem last night. As I said elsewhere, if you told me the entire top 6 and top 4 had the flu last night I wouldn’t have been surprised

They got sick in Montreal...I was there for 3 days and I've been sick this week.

Did I miss the passing of the positivity baton? When did you take over for @PuckLuck3043 ? :sarcasm:
I've always been a positive fan. I have the Jets for misery. I enjoy watching Rangers hockey for decades. I can't see the point in being miserable all year, especially when they're winning. I hung with the Mets this year and was rewarded with a fun season. For me winning and getting more hockey come playoff time is good. I enjoy watching younger guys improve, even through growing pains. I enjoy top level talent like Fox, Panarin and Shesty. I support lifelong Rangers like Kreider. Doom and gloom is pointless to me. I tend to eventually put posters on ignore who beat the same dead horses. I can see the flaws, but I don't need to wallow in misery every day.

Is there a lack of connection between Lavi and Drury? I feel like Drury knows that Lindgren sucks, hence the mediocre 1 year contract but Lavi seems to think he's a big part of this team.

No they are actually on exactly the same page.

“We are going to make changes, as long as everything stays the same”

Drury has been doing that since basically he got here and lav is continuing it with his lineups.

Both are scared shitless of doing a major overhaul or shakeup. Play it safe, win enough to look like im doing a great job so i dont get fired.

Then why they underwhelming 1 year deal?

I think Drury knows there is no way to retain him with the upcoming cap crunch, and he might not be the most tradable if he is always injured.

I do think that Drury knows he kinda is bad though. Plus we dont know what type of deal Lindgren was after. It takes two to tango.

Maybe lindgren only wanted a long term and Drury was scared with injury history and how staal/girardi aged.

I think there are alot of factors. It doesnt necessarily mean they arent on same page.

None of these things are ringing endorsements of him. I feel like Lavi values him a lot more.

I do agree that Lavi does seem to hold him in way to high regard. And probably higher than drury.

If Drury held him in such low regard then why not try to move him in offseason?

Both hold him in higher regard than is warranted,

Well guys, I finally did it. Mika finally accepted a trade but only to Boston and they make a shit trading partner so I traded Mika for Marchand and Poitras and I’m not looking back

Maybe when Laf and Kakko reaches the level of play and production Mika have had up until last season they will get the same excuses.

Are you aware that when all said and done Mika will be a top 5 Ranger in goals, assists and points all time.

Who gives a flying f*** about what happened two years ago? Laf is an infinitely better player than him this year.
