I mean why do u say that? Especially if things take a nose dive. Players feelings change, maybe a team in a location doesnt mind comes.

Zib controls his own destiny, but that doesnt mean he wouldnt accept a trade somewhere.

But yes it wouldnt be easy. But players have waived NMC’s before.

They have. And it’s entirely possible, but usually it’s on losing teams.
And when a player waives the nmc they usually only give a single team, so it makes it even more complicated

Trouba bit is slightly interesting in that EF is confirming that Trouba is being very open about letting teams know he "would not be happy" with a trade now due to his family situation. Maybe he / his agent said he "wouldn't report" this summer, maybe they didn't, but the reality is this guy is stomping his feet into a full NTC for this season that he doesn't contractually have. Amazes me that any NYR fan defends this guy.

Trouba is a bitch. Drury should be fired.

I think confirming that Trouba essentially soft blocked a trade over the summer and is continuing to do so is something.
