Take a look at other teams. Our D sucks so bad yet we’re +16. No other team in the East is double digits. All teams will lose games all year. It’s like you jokers have never watched whole seasons before. This isn’t the NFL where every game is Armageddon.
Have you forgot where you're posting?

That is not what he said. He tried to compare Laf and Kakkos early years to Mikas body of work.
As if a rookie player should receive the same leeway an established veteran with Mikas suscces does.
it’s just funny that when lafreniere doesn’t hit the ground running it’s because he’s a lazy golfer and a terrorist and when Mika sucks for a extended period of time it’s “oh no is he sad?”

I don't think I went off on you. It's just one of those annoying things when fans of players seem to always excuse any and all bad play by said player. It doesn't matter if Laf or Kakko didn't deserve it either or even didn't deserve it more, the larger point is we should not do it with Mika.

Where in my post was I excusing Mikas play? The poster i replied to felt that Lazarus tweet was making excuses for Mika when players like Kakko and Laf didnt receive the same leeway during their struggles in their early years. I merely pointed out that there is a difference between rookie players and established star players with a proven track record.

Whether it is right or wrong that is how reputation works.

I have no idea what is wrong with him but I do know that this team wont win unless he gets his head out of his ass.

Maybe he’s a bit of an asshole.

I never got that from him. I always felt like he's one of those "chill" guys at best and at worst a guy that's depressed or lacking confidence. The most positive way I can frame him is maybe he's one of those quiet dudes that has no personality but steals your girl because she likes reserved dudes that remind her of James Bond.

Liljegren and Maata traded already this year. The Rangers should look to move Lindgren to a team on the bubble who needs defensive help. That team can have the opportunity to use him all year or if they fall out of it, offer him a reasonable contract which, if he rejects, opens up the possibility to trade him as a rental somewhere.

If it were up to the fans it would be Miller that is traded. Especially fans not on HF.

Live stream. Up in the Blue Seats podcast:

I'm not a psychiatrist and don't want to play one on here. Whatever issues Zibanejad may (or may not) have he needs to get sorted out sooner rather than later.

I agree with Larry that the Rangers' development plan for Rempe seems to be rather (at best) incoherent and (at worst) nonsensical. Bringing him up for one game to fight someone doesn't do him any good. Send him back to Hartford and leave him there to play top 6 minutes.

I think the Brooks article on Zib’s ice time is classic Brooks pot-stirring. Nothing Mika says is that out of the norm, and neither is anything Laviolette says. He just manufactures a kind of contrast by alternating quotes between the two.

If I read anything into Mika’s comments it’s that maybe he feels like his role is changing on the team. He kind of went from that monster year to eventually being overshadowed by Panarin, Kreider, then Trocheck, and now, Laf. Of course, his big contract was signed too. It might be a combo of pressure, expectations, confidence, uncertainty with his role (and those things are all connected). And add to those factors that he’s always been somewhat Inconsistent.

Can you imagine the handwringing here if Rempe was in Hartford and Wilson threw a check at someone?

Do you really think that a psycho like Wilson is deterred by Rempe? This is the most overblown nonsense we have in hockey. Maybe if Rempe was a psychopath too and tried to end his career or that of a teammate but thankfully he's not that.
