So what does everyone think Kakko, Schneider and Lindgren sign for in the off
That doesn’t change anything. Using the takes of others on any of these boards does zero. Hahaha. Especially if it’s just confirmation bias. I’m only interested in the non expert opinion (like my own) of the poster I’m talking to, certainly not those of the main boards.
The point though is that on the main boards you have the fans of 31 rival teams with an obvious bias against ”your” team. Whatever team that is and team board you are leaving to go to the mains. Pretty simple.
This is silly. You are literally on a website to talk about a sport with people who have different opinions then your own. The everyone is out to get you mentality is ridiculous. There are plenty of people who have biased opinions on this board or the main board there is no difference.

You put Panarin with Mika and they start playing "you shoot, no you shoot" all day and nothing happens. Don't tinker with what's working. Move around parts and add KK and Fil in to help get other groups going.
I was replying to the other persons changes. I'm okay leaving Bread with Vince. In regards to Mika's line they have not worked out that well in many games at 5 on 5 so far.

Im not even sure KK and chytil are alive anymore.

I know we arent entitled to know everything about injuries. But cant the rangers brass just give an estimate for return with Kakko? Like 6-8 weeks or something? I understand u cant with Chytil, but FFS they can at least give a rudimentary timeline for KK.

For the life of me, I can't remember the circumstances surrounding KK's removal from the lineup. In any case, I don't agree with you about the timeline thing....it seems Rangers are treating all injury information the same, so it's fair to assume they're doing the same with information released to public.

He had an injury located somewhere between his helmet and skate blade.

No. If I am talking to YOU I'm interested in YOUR opinion. If you were to go to another board to look for agreeing opinions, that's called confirmation bias, from people who are inherently biased against this team for the most part, and I don't care. And you can put this shoe on the foot of anyone on different team boards. They would be contending with the fans of 31 teams that are predisposed against their team as well. I don't think anyone is out to get ME, I literally said I don't care what they think. You jumping to that conclusion is silly. Why would they even care about me?
Yes, everyone on these boards has at least a bit of bias, so what? How does this do anything but support what I said? Hahaha.
Again, I'll talk to you all day long, agree or not, but if you want to do an "Appeal to Authority," which is the name of that particular logical fallacy even when the "authority" is not biased, don't expect me to give it any weight.

I guess this could be boiled down to "I don't give a f*** about what they say about this team on the main boards because I have no logical reason to." hahahaha

Schneider and Kakko likely get extended cheaply. I say they shop around for Lindgren alternatives unless he is spectacular in the playoffs.

I think once kk comes back, you also have the opportunity to give Othmann a cup of coffee because the lines will be shifted around.

CK- Mika - KK
Panarin- Chytil - Laf
Cuylle- Trocheck - Othmann (wheeler healthy scratch)
Pitlick - Bonino - Vesey (rotate w goodrow)

The argument for moving trocheck down is that you want to give the kids a bit more veteran stability, and trocheck and cuylle have worked fantastic together.
The bread line is just so strong offensively that they wont be in the defensive zone to worry about.

Yeah, Schneider has a QO of less than 900K, and unless he breaks out I cant see him getting more than 1.5mil or so?
Kakko has a QO of 2.4mil and I don't see him getting too much more at this rate, and maybe just a one year contract if he bets on himself.
Lindgren's QO is 3.6mil. At this point I can see him not getting much over that either, but like with all of these players there is a lot of season left for him to step it up...

Lindgren isnt getting a 1 year deal. He's a top 4 player in the NHL partnered with a norris trophy winner. If he takes a 1 year deal, he's walking at the end of it.
Kakko, yeah coming off injury 2.4m sounds about right, unless the rangers were willing to do a mid length deal, of like 4 years for 3m-ish. Less than Chytil, but lets him know he's a long term fixture, and if he produces he'll get a nice raise.
Schneider is the hard one. He's clearly blocked from more time, but he's loved by 2 straight coaches, and while he has some warts, he's still not really grown into his full strength yet, and thats been the biggest issue in his game. But being blocked out of the top 4 is not exactly something he's gonna love for the next 4 years.

Brooks just mentioned that Brodz would have to clear waivers if he was sent down to the AHL?
|s this true? More of a big deal for Hartford since he's been so good in so many different ways down there but would suck to lose the depth up here. I would imagine someone would claim him.

Yeah. I like the Panarin line as it is. And really don’t want Chytil in the top six at all. Too unreliable. Need as much stability as possible with the scoring lines. Chytil can work his way back on the third line. If that works out, bonus.
It's coming to the point that a hair dryer, accidentally left on high, could put Fil on LTIR.

Drury will make moves with this team with Chytil as a ( yay! Bonus! ) addition at this point . Well, at least I hope he will.

The only one year contract I can see is Kakko. All I was saying about Lindgren is I don't see him, based on his year so far, getting too much over 3.6, but I guess the more UFA years they "buy," the more it goes up?
Also, I'd say he's a top 4 player with the BENEFIT of being paired with a Norris Trophy winner... That's not a knock on him, it's just the reality of it.

How about Chytil for Gourde? I'm not even sure Seattle would do that. I like Gourde but he's 32 and hasn't really been lighting it up this year.

They may be able to give a very loose estimate but they may not know on either player.

Id assume Kakko has a more clear timeline, but they’re also not gonna rush a young player who might force himself to rush back, to exceed the public timeline.
Chytil has a concussion, there’s no timeline for that, and the team is doing the right thing by not saying anything.

And no we’re not entitled to know their injury statuses.

Even if they wanted to give a KK timeline how sure can they be before he even skates? Things are different know but I remember Bernard King being out 2 years with a horrible knee situation. When he finally had a press conference he said, "rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated". :D

Chytil won't be force-fed into 2C coming back from prolonged injury. He'll start back as 3C, bumping Bonino back down. Maybe he establishes chemistry with Cuylle and Brodzinski or reestablishes with Kakko once he's back, but as soon as Chytil's legs are back under him I expect he'll get some shifts with Pan and Laf again. Play will dictate the lines.

All the more reason to find a way to pull the plug on the Goodrow experiment. We will lose affordable and effective forward depth like Brod and/or Pitlick in this continued fantasy that Goodrow will find the other gear he hasn't shown since signing that horrible contract.

Brodz is the 13th forward and you move on from Pitlick when Chytil and Kakko come back. Goodrow isn't going anywhere at this rate. You can make a case for this summer since the cap is going up and someone might take him, even if the Rangers have to retain a small amount.

Rangers get a cap credit next season if they do (and it somewhat lines up with the 300K Wheeler is getting in bonus) if he is bought out. I think a few teams will probably take advantage of the cap going up and buying players out to hit the market this summer.

People will say Bonino, but if the decision is to keep the bad center or the bad winger, I'd keep the C. Hopefully the end result is that both are gone by the deadline either via waivers or via trade.

Be careful asking for PHI dude. The white knight brigade here will destroy you. This organ doesn’t owe you anything!!!
