I honestly have no idea why people have a problem playing either side, it's just basically using your iq to play the position and adjusting where you shoot from and how you play pucks off the wall . Lafreniere, Kreider, Panarin, they're all good enough to switch sides, problem is that none of them want to except for Lafreniere, but Gallant wouldn't let him get used to the right side before he pulled him. I've always prefered my off wing, but I've played all 3 forward positions growing up, outside of faceoffs there's little difference once you know where you're supposed to be.
I miss worded what I meant to write. I meant that I’m completely uncomfortable playing the right side. I also play the off wing and everything just feels odd when I’m playing the right side.

Wheeler kinda looks like what you’d get if Hank and Torts had a baby
Hank and Torts did have a baby:

I will also remind people: Halak. I have no doubt the Rangers were willing to re-sign him for league minimum. Halak obviously didn't want a pay cut, he probably thought he could get more. Well, he's still unsigned...

Pitlick is not that good. 7 goals and 16 points in 61 games. Rather see a rookie get his minutes. I miss the days when that a 4th line of young players and rookies like Brian Boyle, Dom Moore, Brandon Prust Dorsett types. At least all of them were good at hockey, take a regular shift and young. Pitlick, Bezile and Bonino should be the 14th 15th 16th forwards. Bonino is okay but he should not be more than a 14th forward on a good playoff team. If he is playing everyday team has depth issues. Bonino was good 5 years ago. Now not so much.
Rookies and young players like 33 year old Dom Moore, 29 year old Brian Boyle, and 27 year old Derek Dorsett? What?

True. He had a good season too. I know we have mixed opinions about Drury, but sometimes you have to give credit to GMs for the things they don’t do.

He saved some good cap space not signing halak and motte.

Dude needs to learn how to read the room
I agree but I have said something similar for 2 years. I think Tyler and around 20% of Rangers fans greatly over rate his production.

In fairness, city prices and taxes, the Tampa deal is better than he would have made out here even if he took 1.1-1.2.
Larry said he views himself as a 3rd line $2 mill player. If that is accurate that is the reason he only gets signed so late in teams offseasons.

NCAA guys don't attend camp because NCAA rules forbid them from doing so.

It's dumb, but it is what it is.
Oh that's right.

I hate when the rules are not in the notion of doing what's best for the players. Especially young players. Objectively, those guys would benefit from a rookie NHL camp.

Why is Gabe Perrault not in rookie camp?

Because he's in college and players in the NCAA are not allowed to attend pro sports events if it causes them to miss classes.

Any not signed invites ?

James Petrovski and Sahil Panwar, both former teammates of #NYR prospect Brennan Othmann (R1, 2021) have received an invitation.

Joe Arntsen, Seth Barton, Luke McNamara, Max McCue and Ryan McCleary are the other invitees.

Didn’t they sign Panwar to an AHL contract?
