Like I said earlier, I just don't get why this is so hard.

I'm not out to get anyone. This one dude who everyone agrees is awful, he probably did the thing and the thing is bad. Easy peasy. Done and dusted.

Kreider is actually interesting. Treating people like people should be basic.

And frankly, that’s a sign that things are moving in the right direction. I loved both of my grandfathers dearly but they were also deeply racist, xenophobic, womanizing men. The fact that they were exactly like the majority of their peers doesn’t excuse their behavior/ideas, and it strengthens the case for people who still push hard for change today.

My grandchildren will likely look back at me as some horrible asshole for some reason or another. If they don’t, that to me means that societal progress has stopped and the world they are living in might not be such a nice place.

Not to go into details about that whole thing that happened in juniors, but it was a derogatory term, not a racial slur. Yes, it's still bad but all his teammates at that time were white. Hard to use racial slurs against people with the same skin color.

To be honest when it happened I thought DeAngelo made it a point to be the guy to get that puck for Miller. I actually was saying to myself good on him he wants to show the kid his reputation is in the past. Trying to welcome him. At least that was my hope when I saw it happening. I’m hoping that’s still the case.

I’m hoping the fight was Tony telling georgiev he sucked which he did lol. I’m hoping to told Quinn to go F himself. Anything but what’s been reported by the bloggers today. This would be a nightmare scenario otherwise.

At this point it seems like that’s the case and there remains very little if any evidence that it was a racist incident.

Tony a jerk? Yes. Say some non PC things to Georgiev? Probably. Got into an altercation that has apparently pushed the organization to their patience limit? Apparently. Racist? I doubt it. Unless you are changing the definition of what that word means, still seems to be no evidence of it.

We recently had somebody say something insensitive about K'Andre Miller and several people pointed it out to him. I won't say who it is, he can comment if he wants to. He said "oh I'm sorry" and deleted it. That was the end of it. He's not cancelled, everyone still likes him, and nobody thinks he's a racist.

When you die on the f***ing hill is when people take exception, which is what we've been doing all day.

I got news for you, folks: he's probably f***ing racist. If that surprises you, I don't know what to tell you. It's 100% his doing that people think that.

When a story comes out about a white man harassing a Black man, my first reaction will never be to discredit the story. My first reaction will always be to sympathize with the Black man who has disproportionately been the victim of these stories in the past. I will never apologize for that.

His actions, in private, out of view of cameras and reporters, were such that they inspired the team to cut bait on him 8 games into a brand spanking new 2 year, $9.6MM contract.

-He was definitely suspended in juniors for homophobic abuse and the Venn diagram of homophobes and racists is a circle.

I'm 29 years old. I've been watching the Rangers my entire life. I have had this discussion about one player. That player is Tony DeAngelo. All I read all day is about "oh cancel culture, and nobody gets an opinion, and they're coming for everyone" and yet, it's one player. And it's that player again, and again, and again. And you expect me to believe that it keeps coming up because everyone is just out to victimize this one player because he shares political views that 50% of the country holds?

And before you say "that's not evidence" I got news for you: this ain't court, and we ain't stupid.

If it walks like a duck, it's a f***ing duck. You wanna talk about "let's communicate" and "don't cancel people" and "listen to other people," then the least you can do to open the lines of communication is f***ing admit when it's happening.
