I wonder what LA would want for Byfield? Would Nils and Krastov be enough?

My guess is that he does. LA has a thing for sticking it to us.

Well, the word "substantial" in Ottawa is different than, say, NY. Wonder what they offered him - he was on a 1 x 1.6M deal last year.

He's a bad skater and was always a second or two off in recognition, that's why I question his ability to make it again. Just appeared that everything that we were sold about his high floor, hockey IQ, character and aggressive defensive play was inaccurate. Maybe I'm being too harsh on a 21 year old kid.

Tony has said he prefers playing on the Left side, and he played on it quite a bit in junior. Him & Fox in their limited viewing were by far the most dominant pairing we had
