Tarnstrom isn't dynamic, but he's pretty smart player who showed some interesting playmaking ability last season. Obviously you want to see more, in an expanded role, but there are a lot of elements there that are in the same ballpark of some of the two-way forwards we talked about in the teens. It's just the final product wasn't as evident for Tarnstrom.

He'll be one of those kids who either earns more ice time and capitalizes on the opportunity to show that he's a two-way playmaking center, or he's going to languish in a support role because he doesn't leap off the page with his skill set.

This was the first thing I thought of as soon as Vegas drafted him.

Drafted a player the Rangers had high interest in making it easier to complete a ADA trade if the Rangers really want to deal ADA.

Not sure I believe that teams do stuff like this - what's to stop us from just flaking out on them after they pick our guy for us?

For those of you who have been on sabbatical recently, we've been cooking up an ADA trade to VGK for a couple of months. Either Glass or Krebs would have to be the main piece coming back. Vegas will have to move some salary (perhaps a defenseman, Tuch or some combination) and the Rangers will probably need additional value (like a very high draft choice)

This trade will have to hurt on both sides. I think Glass or Krebs would definitely make it hurt for Vegas.

One of the two, I think I like Glass more, idk why, whoever is the better two-way center. No need for a one-dimensional offensive dynamo.
