Id have to imagine it’s Frost/Fabree ++ going the other way.

Man if Laine gets off to a slow start there...things would get interesting fast. That’s a type of player the Philly fanbase would turn on quickly.

I really don't think Laine is that great player. Too much flaws with hum, the only good thing he does is score, which is a big thing btw, but...I dont't know, wouldn't want to pay him 9-10 millions dollars.

Laine is a hard guy to pin down. Right now he’s a 60-80 point powerplay specialist. That’s a good player but not a superstar. But he’s only 22, which feels insane to me. At his current age there is still a lot of room for growth. Does he go on to have a Brett Hull like career? Or does he pound 30-40 goals per year for another three or four years and then fade away? His next contract will likely be seven or eight years.

Buchnevich is not locked down and Kakko was mostly on the third line last season. There is some sense in upgrading our RW.
