Where is the ADA to Vegas chatter coming from?
Edge said that Vegas checked in with the Rangers recently and DeAngelo is a piece that fits for what they need

Looking over Vegas depth at C it looks thin. Can they afford to dump a cost controlled Glass or Krebs? Do we take back salary ? MAF @50%
I hear Smith can play RDRangers do not need Glass, did you not hear, they are getting Eichel by trading Trouba.
Then ADA to Vegas for Krebs and stuff
They were tired of hearing about having too many RD so they are going with just Fox on RD.

I hear Smith can play RD
1) Rangers trade Derek Stepan for 7th overall pick to choose Cody Glass or Elias Pettersson
2) Rangers miss out on Glass by one pick, choose Lias Andersson
3) Lias Andersson is disappointment
4) Throw-in to Stepan deal unexpectedly becomes valuable
5) Rangers trade throw-in to Stepan deal to get Cody Glass
So in a sense, we traded for Glass twice.
To sum it up, @Edge like 10 pages back said Vegas called last night and again this morning about him, then later he said they’re interested in Pietrangelo and they could be checking out/making alternate plans if that doesn’t happen and that the Rangers side is they’re gauging interest in ADAWhere is the ADA to Vegas chatter coming from?
So versatile. He is the only D on the Rangers who apparently could play both sides.
He'd be a good fit with ADA.Brayden McNabb would be pretty solid addition to the Rangers defense if he was part of the deal. He'd fit the type of d-man the team could use for a couple of years back there.
Very well 12-48-60 in 38 games. Also was in the Vegas bubbleHow did Krebs play after his recovery ? I remember he had a pretty serious injury just before the draft.
All we’d get is a video of Gorton sucking his lips and saying “you know, we’re gonna look at all possible angles...” Dude holds his cards close to his chest. That's not really JG's style.
Eichel isn't being moved this season, period. The forum exploded here last night for no reason. lolNot sure if this was mentioned but last night Friedman said since Buffalo already paid Eichel’s signing bonus, he’s certainly not being traded this year. He also said this basically puts Buffalo on notice regarding Eichel. Too much smoke now for going on a pretty good while.
Who is better out of Krebs and Glass? If we could get Tuch+Glass/Krebs for ADA I would hope the Rangers would make that move and not think twice. Sounds like quite a haul to me.
Tuch and one of Krebs/Glass for DeAngelo skews heavily in our favor, IMO. Would need more from our side and I would expect to maybe help the Knights with their cap jam. Great fit from our side, however.
They're very different but I would say offensively Glass is better. Krebs however plays the kind of hockey that one could argue we "need" more of. To me, acquiring Glass is kind of weird with Chytil in the system. One of them would probably get moved to W.Who is better out of Krebs and Glass?
This one is easy to put together;
Krebs or Glass
A second piece of value -- a high pick or perhaps Tuch
A defenseman currently under contract (Vegas has to move some salary out)
This represents a great opportunity for the Rangers with their current draft position and asset base to get a future #2 center.
Damnit you're right. I've seen him rush upthe right side so many times I jumped to a bad conclusion. Thanks. And Dahlin’s a lefty.
