Hoping they're eventually getting back to

Kreids Zib Kakko
Bread Chyt Laf
Will Tro ???
Vesey Badraw ???

Our best chance for a balanced and structured game IMO.

Honestly would love to see Zib in between Cuylle & Kak. Kreids we know plays great with Troch and we won't touch the bangin' PP. Kreids/Zib bromance lives on no matter what in this scenario.

Rw/D are top priority this TDL. If Chytil won't be able to go they will def bring in a C.

We have ammo and no one in this league really scares me. I'm never really the 'all the f*ck in' type of guy but this year I am, especially with the monstrous (and continuing) seasons from many of our prospects outside pro NA hockey.

I know it seems like I'm picking on the guy but every game he's getting exposed. On his first shift yesterday he turned toward the boards and got his head slammed into it by Schenn. How many concussions has this guy been playing through over the last 2 years?
Yes

I forgot what goal it was but he was absolutely daddicked by Saad on the boards for one of the goals allowed.

His positioning has been poor. He's getting physically dominated. He's about as poor as you can get offensively. That's not a top4LHD.

I really liked Cuylle and Kreider together.

At full strength.

Panarin Zibs Laffy
Kreider Tro Cuylle
Vesey Chytil Kakko

Zibs has been passive and defensive conscious. Maybe it helps them not bleed GA.

He's perimeter playmaker. suspect size and defense. Is he getting PP1 time here? Not typically the type you win with imo. We have enough of that. We also have Gabe coming soon

What team has won with a plethora of these types of players?

We need a competent 2way Center. Zegras is not making us a better cup contender imo and that doesn’t even take into account the cost in assets to obtain him.
Rangers have been trying it for years and expecting different results.

Agree, we need a Marchand, Matthew Tkachuk type. Hard driving to the net, no more fancy looking for the perfect play guys.

The Rangers love Lindgren so they’re gonna give him an extension and he’ll promptly dissolve into the ice about 50 games in

Or more likely, just continue to play hurt but tough it out and be shit because if it

Not disagreeing, but every other team in the league needs a guy like that. These guys are unicorns. Just once I'd love to see us draft & develop this type of player.

i still wanna see more of Jones. sure the breakaway goal was his fault but he was just trying to create offense late in a 3-1 game. he needs to play. i saw him do some good things last night in his very limited time. Lindgren needs to sit, or have his minutes limited. so does Trouba but that's not going to happen.

Having NHL players in the lineup also goes a long way.
It sure does, but playing from behind because your goalie wants to stand still doesn't help. They didn't score. I won't argue there. But they shouldn't have given up 5 on the score sheet either.

Just curious what people think. With the benefit of hindsight, and considering the cap, what was the right move, or series of moves, to be made around Buchnevich? The obvious assumption being that we kept and paid him?

I feel like whatever the answer is, signing Trocheck should still be a priority so I’m not sure how to make it work.

The proper move was to Keep him and not sign Goodrow or Nemeth.

Why not Cuylle? Need to empower the kid. Hasnt looked out of place on any line

We've all watched this team and group of players a long time, and you can tell Fox doesnt want to pass him the puck in the offensive zone.

Chytil

Ive been told his career is over
Seriously, though, working out in the gym with mostly stationary exercises is different than practicing his craft in a rink. Good for him, though, for staying in shape. If he can make a comeback, that's great.
