Maybe not, but if you think Kakko and a 1st is enough for Henrique and Vatrano with some retention, the Ducks fans laugh at you. Obviously not sure what the GMs think, but would imagine their ask is an actual top prospect from the Rangers on top of that. So is everyone going to snap if it is

To be fair, the gap between Fox and Hedman is way bigger at this point.

We have to wait to see how the team comes out post ASB.

I know it sounds stupid but IMO the team was tired. The schedule has been dogwater. It's not an excuse for their play but I can understand it with this core.

Also the season falls on Shesty more than anyone. If he doesn't get back to form it doesn't matter... we could add McDavid or trade the entire roster/coaching staff for Carolina's.... we will still lose

I wonder if Drury trades early this year since he knows he has the cap space. He traded for Tarasenko on February 9th.

You might as well try and win the division if he is really going to go for it.
