How can we give up a 2nd rounder? Our farm is barren. Crosby is almost 30 with a huge contract. I say Holden and Staal for Crosby if they retain 34.17%

We obviously flip Crosby for MacKinnon because he can have great chemistry with Kreider on LW and Zibanejad on RW

The smelly smell smells like El Jeffe is trying to package Holden to upgrade our center depth or get rid of Staal's contract. I'm sure if he was trying to swing a deal for a 3rd rounder, it would have happened by now or at the entry draft. It's also likely that AV likes Holden too much to trade him for a 3rd rounder or less even if Jeff wants to recoup some assets.

Are you vetted.

Not as good and they aren't going to make us a cup winner. :(

Although. Look at the contract McDavid just got. Do we really want Eichel at such a major contract? He's already gotten one GM fired, and hasn't even made the playoffs yet! The real question is what do you want more, Holden, 2nd rounder, Jeff Gorton, or Eichel?

Not to mention he'll be 30 in 3,388 days.

Never mind. Eichel #notworthit

Made me lol pretty good.

Staal's one redeeming quality is his reach and ability to break up 1v1s. His game fell off a cliff later in the year, but he usually fared well when put with a guy who moved the puck for him (Stralman/Boyle)
