Jumped from JTM, to Malkin and now it's on Kane.whom?
JTM is somewhat understandable. Malkin and Kane, not so much.

I know. There have been so many offer sheets extended to players over the last 18 years. NOT.Less than 48hrs to sign our RFAs. Offer sheets are coming this year. Drury better retain the kids.
Kane may be a shiny toy but he's not new, I've always wanted to see him in BlueJumped from JTM, to Malkin and now it's on Kane.

People are bored but some of the stuff is just dumb.Jumped from JTM, to Malkin and now it's on Kane.

Toronto didn't QO Ondrej Kase.
True, but 14 goals in 50 games last season.Hes always hurt.
Which is too bad, hes a good player otherwise.
No f***ing wayIf Kane wants to come to NYR and only NYR for this upcoming year, then I really do wonder how cheaply he could be had. People are so against it because it's the idea of moving Chytil or Kakko but if it's something like
Cuylle+Lundkvist+1st
you do it no questions asked.
How much does he want. Not saying much but he was one of their better players last year!Rem Pitlick non-QO in Montreal. Played well for them after he was traded over from Minnesota.
No f***ing way
He is being pushed by no one if you have him on ignoreMalkin is really only being pushed by Jovo.
HF must be boring for you, missing out on some quality contentHe is being pushed by no one if you have him on ignore
That doesn't mean anything. All it means is making the cap crunch worse. If Kakko prices himself off the team, that means we had a productive Kakko. Maybe even a cup winning Kakko.
i wouldn't. Hes not that good plus his name is stupidI’d check in on Kase
For the record I am not in favor of adding any big contract center. The closest thing to that, that I would add is Dubois. But he's still young. When the cap is higher and they have the option to move some of the guys who have big deals.
Kreider and Troubas NMC's turn into limited NTCs in 2 years IIRC. That+ and increased cap= space to add guys.
Committing to an imperfect option now is how you get into the trouble we're in now. Panarin should have never been signed when he was.

With these non-QO'd players, they're all dented cans...would you roll the dice on a 1yr deal hoping maybe this could be an outlier year where he plays 70 games? Still only 27...these are the kinda gambles that could payoff.
He'd be a cheap, diet version of a Vatrano replacement. He's had so many significant injuries though recently, so teams will probably be scared off by his medical reportsIt'd have to be at practically league minimum but I've heard much worse ideas.
He's coming off a 1/1.25 deal in Toronto. It'd have to be at practically league minimum but I've heard much worse ideas.
