16th+Greer makes wayyy too much sense especially if Knight is gone at the pick. Greer played for Quinn at BU and is a big LW

Yeah but then how do we get our center?

We'll have to trade up again.

16 leaves us with another defenseman that we don't need.

Thread title needs a spoiler tag- "don't read if hungry".

Those pics of homemade **** a few pages back were impressive!

I usually make my shit at home. Don't like to use public restrooms.

Now that they have Trouba, Kreider I think fits in much better. Panarin too.

To me that is the whole give and take of what they do, if they are trading for picks, trade for picks and go that direction. Allow for the team to maybe win /move up in the lottery again.

If they are adding established NHLers who are going to carry high cap hits, then figure that out by supporting them with other established NHLers so maybe they stand half a chance at making and advancing in the playoffs.

Pick a direction and stick to it. If Zbad, Trouba, Skjei are players they want to build around, and they think the #2 pick can enter his prime while they are still in theirs, and they think they can also fit in Kreider/Panarin whoever, then do that.

If they are not the players they want to build around, why are they trading for them, extending them, signing them, to only to put them on hold?

I think that would be an either/or scenario. I could see the Rangers paying out Panarin AND Kreider especially when a lot of their best prospects like Kakko, Kravstov, Chytil appear destined for the wing.

My money is there for a number of reasons, one or which is the risk of moving Buch at this point.
You can always move Buch if Kakko/Kravstov blow the doors off everyone next year. It's not like he's gonna disappear.

Plus, gotta ice a team.

30 odd page recap for those of us who live in sensible timezones?
Any more info/light on what was being discussed by Edge and Co. yesterday?

Buch and Dallas pick can be ammo to go get Byfield next year, so.....

Heyoooooooooooooo

only thing i can think of is buch and vesey for poolparty and 8

Playing Devils Advocate, I am not sure I would trade the 8th for Buch. I know Edmonton needs players, but I would think that there are better deals out there. Now 8th and Poolparty for Buch and say and Anderson vs. Vesey, maybe that deal is a little more sound from an Edmonton perspective. maybe a small add from Edmonton like a 3rd next year or something..

I like buch, but i don't think i hold him in as high-regard as some others on here..

Coming late to the pizza discussion...been on the road all day.

After 70 years in NY (city and suburbs) and one year in Charlotte, NC, I unashamingly admit to being a NY pizza snob. My standards are very high. Best pizza I ever had was at the source: Naples, Italy. Also in Sicily (totally different from NY Sicilian), Verona, and in a small, working class neighborhood in Rome. But I love NY pizza.

Here in Charlotte, I’ve learned one thing: if a place advertises NY pizza, run away as fast as you can. Have found one excellent place in NE Charlotte (actually Harrisburg) that was recommended by our favorite pizza place in the northern NY suburbs. The owner is from Brooklyn.

But, I am a failure at life: my two Charlotte born grandsons don’t like real pizza. Their favorites: Pizza Hut and Dominos. I’m embarrassed and humiliated.

What makes great pizza? The crust has to be right. Thin, slightly crusty, bordering on the well done but not quite. Can't sag but can be folded. Sauce cannot be a sauce with sugar as an ingredient. Can’t be drowning in either sauce or cheese or olive oil. A light touch with the sauce and cheese. Traditional toppings ( you’d be surprised with the variety of toppings available in Italy) but “plain” (not cheese as it is called in the south) is fine. BTW, no pepperoni in Italy. If you order it, you’ll get a pie topped with hot peppers.

Pizza is the perfect food.
