I happen to think Kakko is gonna lift Panarin's output. It wouldn't surprise me if the breadman has his best year ever playing along side Kakko. This kid will create space for his linemates.Hopefully Kakko will be the Rangers best player by his second year. One guy who would get him there faster is Panarin though.

But then again, Panarin's output must of been enhanced playing along side Kane and Atkinson the last 4 years too. I believe Panarin probably has one of the best one-timers in the game. So Kakko would be a good fit with him.
All his goals in this highlight reel seems to be off one-timers.
Without a doubt our PP looks phenomenal. Besides adding Panarin and Kakko up front, adding Fox and Trouba along with DeAngelo on the point, looks extremely promising.I like the balance. Love the depth. Let’s pray Gortons master plan works out. He’s certainly done a good job making our future look incredibly bright.
Having all those Right Handed Shots is huge. Especially on the PP. Zbad at the left circle on one PP and Panarin there on the other. Good luck stopping that.

My hope is we somehow improve defensively. There were some games last year we played responsibly, keeping the quality chances against, down to a minimum. But we were very inconsistent in doing so. And at times, lost all confidence as a team to defend. With the influx of all the new talent coming this season, my hope is they keep the growing pains down to a minimum. Playing a defensive structure rest squarely with the coaches. Which is why Quinn was quick to pull players who shown lapses.
Adam Fox is underrated as a defender. Hopefully he makes smart decisions and learns the system quickly. Skjei needs to show the consistency that got him his extended contract. Trouba also needs to be responsible. Staal is getting long in the tooth and needs to prove his worth once again. DeAngelo needs to mature off the ice, and be more of a professional. With all these question marks we are in for a rough season. But exciting none the less.
Hard to believe the guy who was whining about Panarin before he got here, is in fact whining about him now
Can we let the guy play an NHL game before prognosticating that he'll be the team's best player in year 2, please?

Man I just don't want f***ing Puljujarvi. So Ek (I know, I know) is saying Kreider to Edmonton for Pulju, a pick and a prospect.
Would Pulju, a second that becomes a first of CK resigns, and a prospect such as Marody, Benson, Yamamoto, Jones, Maksimov be enough? Would it be too much?
Just spitballing as it's the end of August and why not

Is it really though? For 1 year of Kreider, a package of JP, cond. 2nd and Yamamoto is a massive overpayment
I have said a lot lately I'm a name guy, and I just can't have a guy named Kailer on my team.Is it really though?
If JP has half the value that Edmonton thinks he has, he likely would have been moved already.
I'm not a huge Yamamoto fan either. I mean, I guess I would say its fair at best but I don't think it is the massive overpayment, considering I believe Puljujarvi has almost no value.
Him being ineligible for waivers makes him even more of a pain in the ass to deal with for this season. I think we'd be the perfect environment to help turn him get his career back on track, but I also don't see where he's fitting on the team long-term.Man I just don't want ****ing Puljujarvi.
