Goodrow has a 15 team NTC. If he doesn't want to go there, he won't go there.

And I'm not sure Ottawa will have the cap space for him. They've got 16 mil to spend, but they only have 14 players signed for next season. It will depend on what they do with DeBrincat. He's already making 6.4 mil and he'll be looking for a raise, I'd imagine.

I would love Konecky . He is a skilled pest. If he was on a better team, he’d be a much more known player. I still hate the Flyers for drafting Farabee, while the Rangers drafted Kravsoft 🤮

Gut feeling Kravtsov is being held because a trade is closer than fans think. The way he gets hurt. It does make some sense..

It’s more nuanced than that.

15 no trade. That means there’s 17 teams available. As long as one of those 17 teams want him and it’s not who’d he sign with if he were bought out…. That’s the pitch

It can be Detroit, Columbus or any team for that matter. A team looking for vet jam. If they feel he won’t sign with them, they’d trade for him. We’re not forced to trade him.

Players get scratched in every NHL hockey game. There have been like 5 players traded since the season started. It's not that deep.

I can't believe we're off for 10 days. I know it'd help some of our vets.... but 10 days?

Why do we still have 'bye weeks' with no more covid cancellations... I thought they were mean for 'makeup games'.

Nah, anyone trading for VK would to be doing so with a long term approach. He's not in the lineup because Gallant doesn't know where to put him in the top 9. Technically he could go in Vesey's spot on the Mika line as that line is still sorting out their chemistry. That said, I'm not certain that's the best spot for a kid who would play at his best if it's clear where he needs to be on the ice. Mika and Bread need to find some repeatable mojo. Anyone added to them is going to be in no man's land until then. There isn't an ideal place in this lineup for VK right now. There's a not so great mix right now. We are currently sacrificing Mika because no one is working with Bread. And we finally got Laffy going by putting him with Fil and KK. It sucks for VK, but it's not his fault. And while I don't love a lot of GG's decisions, I really do understand this issue.

Coaching everyone on here was so happy to get rid of when he was an associate coach with Rangers. You mean that coach.

Kravstov is closer to being traded for a 2nd round pick at the draft than he is to being a middle 6 player

You gave the answer in your post. You put Kravtsov with Mika and Panarin and Vesey moves to the 4th line.

Nobody is more sure than me that Kravtsov will not and cannot be part of 2023's THE TEMPLATE but it still tilts me when people are sooooo sure that he's getting dealt. Of course it's a possibility. Another team might get cised. But just because he's not part of the plans this year doesn't mean his fate here is sealed forever. Having said that, he's going to San Jose as part of the Labanc/Bonino return.
