Kane and Panarin chemistry was 7 years ago. Kane is 34 now. For the love of god, let it go. If people like the player for this team that’s one thing but the chemistry argument is stale
I think Kane still has 4-5 years of hockey in him, just not here.

He'll be off scoring 50-60 points a season for Arizona at age 38 after being dealt by the contender that signed him to a bloated contract, then became dissatisfied with his play as he declined past the point at which his contract was of value.

are the red wings interested in re-signing bertuzzi or are they dangling him for offers?
He would be another good addition to the Rangers. So would Suter up front or Maata as that 3 LHD option if they don't go for Kulikov.

The name of the game should be having a deadline where the first rounders are off the table but mid round picks are ok. More fiber, less star power.

Philly? You really need to visit some more cities
Lol I like to visit Philly quick, I'm going to the Rangers-Flyers game March 1. My girlfriend used to live there, but I would never want to. Talk about dirty cities, Manhattan can be pretty bad too but sheesh at least driving along the highways they are more cleaned up.

A day down there popping around between some breweries and getting some food before a game is fun though.

Rangers trade 1st round the later pick in 2023 and 3rd in 2023 (Avs) to Predators for Tanner Jeanott

Rangers get a cost controlled forward who is 25 and an RFA. Rangers get a power forward for the playoffs. Someone that crashes the net and score ugly goals. Someone that will stick up for teammates and play a physical game. A momentum changer type of player.

How is he cost controlled if he's an RFA? He's valuable enough to trade a first for but somehow not valuable enough to get a decent contract?

I’m hoping for a three year contract (with one UFA year included). Still being RFA for the first two is important. Something in $4.x range. $3.5+$3.8+5.6=$4.4. Even in the first year it’s a big increase from his current contract. Could probably add another $0.6 to the total and spread out however they chose.
I don’t think three years gets Chytil to UFA, even. He’s still so young. But maybe someone else can confirm.

If the rangers did go out and get Kane - which is not something I’d want them to do - I would hope they don’t overpay, for one, and play Kane with 16 and 20. And leave Panarin to gel with 72 and 74. That would be a killer top nine.

He was bad last year, not sure why he was signed.

Evander yes...Patty No.
Assuming Igor is going to be a horse for us again it can be hard to find a guy that can go long stretches without playing but who can also play a stretch if called upon. Halak has been that guy in his past but he is obviously struggling.

A first rounder for a grinder with some skill?

No disrespect, but HELL NO

Would love Jeannott but seems like a guy Nashville would prefer to build around, not trade

They are going to go for Kane if they are near the top of the standings. I think he’ll be rejuvenated with Panarin again playing for the Cup. Hopefully he forces his way here to lessen the return.

A team heavy on finesse wingers gets another finesse winger.

Yayyyy

In kane's defense, he has no one to get him the puck or to give and go with. He needs Ryan strome ha
