The best way to troll NYR fans would be to make fun of the "no first round pick again this year! Omg, the Rangers future looks bleak!"

No one knows who he is and there's no history of legitimate information so all it takes is a hockey related personal Twitter account?

No insider has reported on any possibilities to NYR or our 1st. Trades that involve moving players after the draft selections are far from set in stone given the bidding war that is to ensue for valuable commodity. McPhee isn't going to make a deal without letting everyone bid on an available player.

C'mon. Most of us understand that.

The poster in question, however, claims to be on staff with Frolunda, Hank's old team. If you scroll down his feed, it's half English and half Swedish and has a great many posts regarding hockey, going back months. He's got no other posts indicating anything regarding any other rumors that I can see.

So, is it possible that a guy employed by Frolunda decided as a joke to say that the Rangers traded their #1 for the 5th year in a row after never trolling before? I suppose. But I find it equally likely that he actually heard something.

We'll find out soon enough, anyway.

Yes, it's plausible but when the insiders are getting things wrong left and right because of the changing information regarding the expansion draft and Bob McKenzie goes on a rant about the legitimacy of information being based on what is being heard and not what is true and set in stone, the threshold for valid information is at an all time high and we're making 5 leaps of logic to surmise at the possibility of something being true. I'm not yelling at you. Just yelling in general.
 
Maybe the Devils fan from HFBoards is lying about knowing the other Devils fan to make Rangers fans believe they did not trade the first so that when they do find out it was traded, they really get trolled hard.
