Interesting
If they trade Kreider I hope it’s to a team out west and he either re-signs later with the Rangers (suuuuuuper unlikely) or he signs out west.

Kreider in a Caps jersey. If they trade Kreider I hope it’s to a team out west and he either re-signs later with the Rangers (suuuuuuper unlikely) or he signs out west.
If Hank decides to retire this offseason, what would happen to his salary cap hit?
Wasn't sure if he was subject to any cap recapture penalty?
garbage fanbase that doesn't deserve him IMOFor the love of god do not send Kreider to TB.
All for re-signing him.
And no, they are not going to sit him out games. He is going to play.
They’re not really cheap. They do pull the trigger. The cheap organization in my eyes is the Leafs. Totally scared to do anything but the most basic low hanging fruit deals. Colorado has that rep too, a bit, but I have a feeling they’re going to make a big move or two. Trade in some assets to take a run at the cup. The Leafs are just gonna stand pat because they’re worried about the media and the fans if they swing and miss.lol, the Lightning. What will they include? McDonough and a C level prospect?
I’ll believe that cheap org when I see it
Agree. He may not be a strategic genius but I see the team playing super confident and loose. I think the players all love playing for him. He has all ‘the hand’ at this point.Quinn is not even close to being on the hot seat.
I just think Henrik has more in the tank. And if I think that, I’d assume he does too. And I’d hope the Rangers do too.A buyout of Hank is a very real possibility and should be taken into consideration by everyone on here.
Actually kind of interesting Henrik doesn’t seem to appear on these kind of videos. Am I correct in saying that? Did he used to show up more on Rangers social media?where was Hank? Our fashion celebrity goalie for Valentine’s Day?
Tony D does have quite a personality. Meanwhile, I’m glad the others play better than they speak lol
Yeah. The conventional wisdom is that there would be more competition for Georgiev in the summer. But if I’m a team looking for a long term goalie, like SJ, maybe I make an offer now to get in early. LaBanc and a pick? Does that move the needle? LaBanc is going to be due a decent raise. If G continues to shine though, waiting til the summer could make more sense.I don't think it's actually that simple - they have a bunch of moving pieces, including who-offers-what for Georgie either now or in the off-season.
Figured I'd post this here:

Extended Rangers talk starts around 18:20.
In sum, both Friedman and Marek think the three goalie situation sticks around until the end of the year. Marek loves Shesterkin. Friedman believes the Rangers want to hold onto Georgiev and will have some very frank discussions with Henrik after the season regarding whether he has any interest playing elsewhere.

Why wait? Why not talk now? They should have talked to Lundqvist before bringing up Shesterkin. Hard to imagine any of the goalies being completely happy with this situation.
