Guess what, if Shesterkin is top 5 goalie next season, which isn't too much of a reach, then yea, he can potentially get 6M on a 5-6 year contract.

Funny story, after Lundqvist's 3rd season where he had a season with stats of a .912 save % he got almost 7M a season on a 6 year contract, with the cap much lower than it is now.

He also played 200 games opposed to 47. Nobody with any brains at all should give a goalie 6M based on 47 games

And Lundqvist took a 1 year bridge, you want to give Shest a 1 year bridge then go for it, but that could be risky as well if he becomes a vezina contending goalie, then we will wish we signed him for 6M a season the year before.

I'll take my chances.. They can find a goalie if they have to, or if he has a good season next year then sure I'll pay him, but they should not do it based on 47 games.
