Drury’s moves have been horrible. He might not be cut out as GM.
Lol, he basically traded away Howden and got Goodrow, which 90% of the board was begging for.

The Goodrow deal is inexplicable. Not a dramatic overreaction at all. Not one bit
And then signed him to…that contract.Lol, he basically traded away Howden and got Goodrow, which 90% of the board was begging for.

half the boards on suicide watch for a contract we knew about days ago. typical day in HFJust checking in on all y’all dope fiends. Everybody good?
says the guy who wanted this team to trade for Tarasenko.

Build a bridge and get over it.The Goodrow deal is inexplicable.
Can thank the finesse culture of the team for bringing in Goodrow. It is what it is. Someone mentioned Kreider-Barron-Goodrow. That could be a heck of a 3rd line for others to contend with.
Can always think buyout at years 5-6.

Maybe he knows something we don't and he's not going anywhere.
And, yeah, Buch for 9OA? What's the chances that the 9OA turns into a better player than Buchnevich was this year or career-wise? Next to zero. Huge, no, HUGE pass.

That’s not happening any time soon. The league see’s that as an advantage for the health of it. It allows smaller market teams to compete even more with the big market teams. The league also needs to adjust the cap to accomodate state's income tax. It's a factor why we always "overpay".
The Goodrow deal is inexplicable.
We can revisit this down the road.Stop overreacting.
This is an apologists take.Build a bridge and get over it.
Its also pretty explainable. And I am sure in that explanation there is something having to do with the high NY State income tax.
Well then, we must endure this "terrible" Goodrow "overpay" which seems to have set this franchise back years. **Please note that I don't actually believe that - I think the contract is fine but I am not looking at the buyout. That’s not happening any time soon.
