tell that to the Yankees and their prospects.. Its not as easy as that. At one point Miguel Andujar and Clint Frazier could have returned Geritt cole they passed on them, and now......
I felt like Francis was playing checkers while everyone else was playing chess. He left a ton on the table.
I find it funny that 95% of the anti Chytil crowd are pro Eichel.
By the time I got to the 3rd line of this post you had me saying ChychelI would trade Chytil for Eichel..
I would also rather trade Kravtsov than Chytil for Eichel as well.
I would love if the Rangers somehow had Eichel and Chytil.. It doesn't mean Chytil's best position is at center or that Chytil isn't worth more to the Rangers in a trade for someone who IS a center right now. and yes it can backfire.
all of these things can be true.

Curious what you mean - in which ways are the two players related that people should be consistent with their feelings for each? (genuine question, I don't see the connection you're implying)

He is the most underrated player on this board and it’s really not close at allImo people overvalue Chytil here. I like Chytil, i just don't think hes a top 6 center on a cup team. He's a solid 3c, and thats only if he can be more physical and be better at faceoffs.

Yeah, it makes it even worse when you consider he took some of the names he did willingly. Like dude if your price you set for side deals is so high that no one is interested, maybe change the price?I'm pretty stunned by the fact that Francis didn't make a single trade during the ED, made some baffling, unforced choices from 4-5 teams, and has so far announced nothing beyond trading a career 4th liner/spare for a 4th. So much for reports of "several deals in the can" and Francis saying he had "less than you might expect". If you have zero, just say you have zero. Somehow I doubt Pitlick to Calgary for a 4th was something he'd been discussing with Calgary since the day prior. More likely something that happened between Seattle selecting him and the trade taking place.
That’s because they have their Twitter following and people that live on Twitter are big time dumb dumbs. The NYR Twitter bloggers are so full of shit.
“Been told this...”
“I know that....”
“on good authority we will see player A brought in as soon as...”
Even worse is there are so many people that buy into it
I think Eichel is fairly rated. He’s one of the best players in the league when he’s healthy. Aside from blatantly stupid takes that I’ve seen here, I don’t think many would dispute that. What's funny is that Eichel & Chytil are both insanely underrated on here.

The Philadelphia pick is probably the one that jumps out as the biggest wtf
like take Hagg and trade him for another asset or something
