Knies isn’t Knies quality prospect. The mythology some of y’all have built around him is ridiculous. He is good prospect and likely NHLer, but let’s not ask like he is Matthew Tkachuk or anything. He’s 3rd best guy on his own line at UM.

Played 2nd line LW at the recent jr tourney. The top line LW was Slaggert a guy the Hawks hope can be a 3rd or 4th guy in their rebuild.

Sandin doesn't get you Ryan O'Reilly and Kerfoot (and Minten) adds nothing of value to the deal.

Were you at the Leafs practice on Saturday after they played Ottawa on Friday? The Leafs played the Rangers in a Sunday matinee game at 5pm. When you want to use the ultimate small sample size (1 game) to prove your point make sure the team you are slagging actually played the day you are talking about.

I'll likely bring this up anytime somebody says an outlandish "a leafs fan said!" because thats how hilarious your bias is.

It's the perfect counter for every leafs fan who thinks "Marner is better than Mcdavid", "Samsonov is better than Sorokin", or a potential new one "I wouldnt trade Knies for Bedard!".

Well the nhl considers him a center. Nhl analyst consider him a center. The stl blues consider him a center.... guess we should go with what you think over them...

Again, it goes back to what I said last week, St. Louis and Toronto are not good trade partners.
You drop ROR and Barbie on that Leafs team and that looks like a team that could compete for a cup. However in that scenario that is going to cost Toronto their 1st in 2023 and Knies, which Toronto is unwilling to do.

So you move on to the next trade partner.
